Gongqing City Gongqing City, referred to as Gongqing, is a county-level city in Jiangxi Province, which is directly under the management of Jiangxi Province and managed by Jiujiang City.

Evolution of construction

In 1955, the youth volunteers of the Shanghai Communist Youth League arrived at tuogouling, miliangpu, De'an County, Jiangxi Province to reclaim wasteland and set up the "Communist Youth Club".

In 1957, some cadres of De'an County were sent to Jinhu township to set up a reclamation farm. The "Gongqing society" and Jinhu farm were merged into the state-owned Gongqing comprehensive reclamation farm of De'an County. The general farm was located in Jinhu, and all the staff of the Gongqing society moved to the farm.

In 1969, De'an County implemented the division of farm and community, and moved the headquarters of Gongqing reclamation farm from Jinhu to Nanhu.

In 1992, Jiangxi provincial government approved the establishment of Jiangxi Gongqingcheng open development zone in order to accelerate the construction of Changjiu industrial corridor.
