Dazhu County, located in the east of Sichuan Province and the south of Dazhou City, Dazhu County is subordinate to Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It is located between 106 ° 59 ′ - 107 ° 32 ′ E and 30 ° 20 ′ - 31 ° 00 ′ n, adjacent to Liangping district and Dianjiang County in the East, Linshui County in the south, Guang'an District and Qu county in the west, and Dachuan District in the north. It has been included in the poverty alleviation and Development Zone of Qinba mountain area, Chongqing Guangda Development Zone of Chengdu Chongqing Economic Zone and Northeast Sichuan urban agglomeration.
In 2015, the county covers an area of 2076 square kilometers, including 24.2 square kilometers of built-up districts with a population of 241000; it has jurisdiction over 3 streets, 22 towns and 7 townships. In 2019, the registered residence population was 1 million 82 thousand and 700, and the GDP in the county was 37 billion 90 million yuan, an increase of 8% over 2018. Dazhu County is named after "bamboo is abundant and big". It was established in the first year of Emperor Wu Zetian of Tang Dynasty (A.D. 700). It is known as "the hometown of ramie in China", "the first county of Toon in China", "the capital of mash in China", "the hometown of glutinous rice in China" and "the hometown of green bamboo in eastern Sichuan". It has Wufeng Mountain National Forest Park, ancient official post road which started in the pre Qin Dynasty and flourished in the Three Kingdoms, and the combination of China and Europe Qinghe ancient town, Yunwu Mountain Scenic Area, etc. In Dazhu, Datong Chongqing Expressway, national highway 318, national highway 210 and nandaliang Expressway under construction run through the area in the shape of "well". Dazhu County has been selected as one of the "top 100 counties in Western China" for 12 consecutive years. On April 28, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government decided to withdraw Dazhu County from the poverty-stricken county sequence.
In 2020, the CPC Dazhu County Committee will seamlessly align with the major decisions and plans of the Central Committee, the provincial Party committee and the municipal Party committee, comprehensively study and judge, repeatedly calculate and scientifically demonstrate, and put forward the blueprint of "double deputy and double 20", that is, to build Dazhu into a sub economic center and sub central city of Dazhou.
Evolution of organizational system
In ancient times, Dazhu belonged to the territory of congren country, and congren were the earliest residents of Dazhu.
In summer, Dazhu belonged to Liangzhou; in Shang Dynasty, it belonged to Yongzhou.
In Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to the state of Bazi.
In the 17th year of emperor Huiwen of Qin Dynasty (321 BC), Zhang Yi and Sima CuO were sent to destroy Shu. In the 24th year, Ba, Shu and Han counties were set up in the former Ba and Shu States, which governed several counties. Dazhu belonged to xiadangqu county.
At the end of Han Dynasty, Liu Zhang changed Ba County into Brazil county.
In Shu Han Dynasty, Liu Bei set up Dangqu County, which belonged to Dangqu county.
From the Southern Jin Dynasty to the Western Wei Dynasty, the construction was chaotic.
In 537, Wudi of Nanliang divided Dangqu county and Linshan county. Linshan county was located in Jincheng (now Sihe town).
When the emperor was abolished in the Western Wei Dynasty, the neighboring Prefecture was changed into Linshan County, with Linshan and Linshui counties under it. Dazhu belonged to Linshan County, and the county government was still in Jincheng.
In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, there was a general manager's office in Xinzhou, and Linshan county was a Linshan County under the general manager's office in Xinzhou.
After the unification of the whole country by Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, in order to end the Eastern Jin Dynasty's situation of "no hundred Li in the land, several counties juxtaposed, or households less than one thousand, two counties divided the whole country by nine prefectures. Sichuan belongs to Liangzhou, and several counties are under the jurisdiction of the prefectures. According to the records of the old Tang Dynasty, Linshan county is under the jurisdiction of Liangzhou. At the end of the Sui Dynasty, Linshan county was abolished, and Dazhu County was divided into Liujiang county and Linshui county.
After Li Yuan built Tang Dynasty, he changed the county into a state. In 618, he abandoned Dangqu county and set up Quzhou. Liujiang county belongs to Quzhou. It is also divided into Linshui county and Dianjiang County, which is added with Linshan county and Yanquan county. Linshan county is still located in Jincheng; Yanquan county is located in today's Tongjia town. In the first year of Wuzhou Jiushi (700), Dazhu County was set up in the east of Dangqu county. The county seat is located in the south of Shenfu junque (yanjiachang), Hanbei Township, which belongs to Pengzhou. In 757, Dazhu County was merged into Linshan county and changed into Quzhou County. The county was moved to Laifeng township of Quxian county. Soon, Dazhu County was established in Linshan county. In the first year of Jingzong Baoli (825), Dazhu County and Linshui county were merged into Linshan county at the same time, and the county seat was in Jincheng. It will soon be divided into Linshan county and Dazhu County.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Dazhu was once incorporated into Linshan county and Liujiang County; in the third year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1133), Dazhu County was restored to Quzhou. Since then, Dazhu County has been established in all dynasties. In the third year of Baoqing (1227), Guozhou was upgraded to Shunqing Prefecture.
In 1283, Linshan and Linshui were merged into Dazhu. County moved into the original Linshan County, Mumen town (now Zhuyang Street Office).
In 1376, it was transferred to Guang'an Prefecture under Shunqing Prefecture. In the first year of Chenghua (1465), the southern part of Dazhu was restored to Linshui county. During the Wanli period, Shunqing branch government was set up in Sihe town to assist Dazhu, Dianjiang, Linshui and Guang'an, which was soon abolished.
In the early Qing Dynasty, the county belonged to Shunqing Prefecture of North Sichuan Road. Qianlong 49 years (1784), the restoration of Shunqing sihefenfu, still auxiliary governance of the original jurisdiction of the state and county. In 1800, sihefenfu was abolished again. In 1814, the county was transferred to suiding prefecture (now Dazhou) in eastern Sichuan.
In 1913, it was directly under the jurisdiction of Eastern Sichuan. In 1914, East Sichuan Road was renamed as East Sichuan Road. In 1916, the national defense army of Dazhu declared its independence. In 1917, it was subordinate to Sichuan Province. In 1935, Sichuan Province was divided into 18 administrative supervision districts, and the county was "the Tenth District". The office of the Commissioner and the county government are all located in the town (now Zhuyang sub district office).
After the liberation of Dazhu in December 1949, it belonged to Dazhu special area under the administrative office of East Sichuan. The executive office is located in Chongqing, and the special office and the county people's government are located in Chengguan Town (Zhuyang sub district office). Under the jurisdiction of Dazhu, Quxian, Linshui, Dianjiang, Liangshan (Liangping), Guang'an, Changshou 7 counties. In September 1952, the administrative office was abolished and the organizational system of Sichuan Province was restored. In February 1953, Dazhu district was abolished and the county was changed to Daxian district. In September 1968, Daxian district was renamed Daxian district. In September 1993, Daxian district was renamed Daxian district. In September 1993, Daxian district was abolished and Dachuan district was built. Dazhu County belongs to Dachuan district. In January 2000, Dachuan district was abolished and Dazhou city was established. The county belongs to Dazhou city.

On December 23, 2003, Sichuan Provincial People's Government (No. 38 of Sichuan civil administration) approved the cancellation of 15 townships in Dazhu County, including Chengdong, Tianba, Shuangqiao, Yujia, Yuehua, Luocheng, Xihe, Mingtan, gaotanchang, Jixing, Shilong, wucang, Xinqiao, Gaojia and Minzhu. Expand the administrative areas of 11 townships: (1) merge the administrative areas of the former Chengdong Township into Zhuyang Town, where the government is located at 59 Jiefang street. (2) The administrative region of yuantianba township will be incorporated into Yangjia Town, and the Yangjia town government will be stationed in yangjiachang. On March 26, 2015, Sichuan Provincial People's government issued the reply of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on approving Dazhu County to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships (cfzm [2014] No. 28): first, the administrative areas of Yuntai village, Baita village and Shuangma Village (excluding 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 villagers' groups) in Zhubei Township were put under the jurisdiction of Zhuyang town. 2、 Zhuyang town and Dongliu Township were abolished, and three sub district offices, Zhuyang, Baita and Dongliu, were set up.
