Qingliu County Qingliu County is subordinate to Sanming City, Fujian Province. Located in the west of Fujian, south of Wuyi Mountain, upstream of Jiulong River. The total area is 1806.3 square kilometers, including 1764.15 square kilometers of land, accounting for 97.67%; 42.15 square kilometers of water, accounting for 2.33%. It is adjacent to Yongan City and Mingxi County in the East, Ninghua County in the west, Liancheng County in the south, Changting County in Longyan City, Ninghua County in the north and Mingxi County in the south. The total population of the county (registered residence population) was 154632 at the end of 2019.
Qingliu County was established in the first year of Fu in song and Yuan Dynasties (1098) and subordinate to Tingzhou. In 1983, it was subordinate to Sanming City. It is one of the famous Hakka Ancestral places with rich Hakka customs. The forest coverage rate is 84%, and anthracite, fluorite, tungsten and other minerals are abundant.
Qingliu County is a national commodity grain base county, a national key forestry county and a national rural primary electrification county. It is also an important base of Osmanthus fragrans in southern China and the largest production base of Podocarpus arvensis in China. On December 13, 2012, it was awarded the title of "hometown of Anoectochilus roxburghii" by China economic forest association. In March 2020, it won the title of national advanced county of village cleaning action, and was praised by the central agricultural office and the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas.
In 2019, the county's GDP will reach 1471.784 million yuan, an increase of 7.9%.
Historical evolution
Qingliu belongs to Huanglian cave in ancient times. Zhou, spring and autumn, for the Fujian and Vietnam. Qin belongs to Minzhong county. In the early Han Dynasty, it belonged to Minyue state. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it belonged to Kuaiji Prefecture. The Three Kingdoms belong to Jian'an county. Jin for Xinluo County, belongs to Jin'an county. In the second year of Qianfeng reign of Tang Dynasty (667), Huanglian town (now Longjin Town in Qingliu) was built. In the 13th year of Kaiyuan (725), it was promoted to Huanglian county.
In the 26th year of Tang Kaiyuan (738), it was transferred to Longyan County of Tingzhou. After the Tang Dynasty for Changting, Ninghua two counties, belonging to Tingzhou. At the beginning of the Five Dynasties, it belonged to the king of Fujian and later to the Southern Tang Dynasty. In the later Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Machang li of Ninghua and set up Qingliu post.
In the first year of Fu (1098) of song and Yuan Dynasties, Tixing Wang Zudao visited the counties and counties, resting at Qingliu post in machangli of Ninghua. He loved its beautiful scenery and thought that Ninghua had a vast territory, which was difficult to manage. In the paper, he wrote that the 6th regiment of Ninghua and the 2nd regiment of Changting were set up in Qingliu County, which was named as "clear streams". County set Fang Guoli, later known as Chengguan. In the first year of shaoding (1228), the county was abolished. In 1271, Qingliu County was restored, belonging to Tingzhou road. In the first year of Hongwu (1368), Tingzhou road was changed into Tingzhou mansion, and Qingliu belonged to Tingzhou mansion. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Tingzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the provincial, Taoist and county-level local political system was implemented. It belonged to xiludao in Fujian Province. In the third year of the Republic of China, it belonged to tingzhangdao (daosuo Longyan).
In 1932, the Soviet government of Qingliu County was established. Qingliu belonged to the Central Soviet area. Until 23, the red army went north to resist Japan.
From November 1933 to February 1933, general Cai tingkai of the 19th route army launched the "Fujian incident" and established the people's revolutionary government of the people's Republic of China, namely the Fujian people's government, which divided Fujian into four provinces, and Qingliu belonged to Longzhang province.
In 1934, Fujian Province was divided into 10 administrative supervision districts. Qingliu was the eighth Office of the Commissioner of administrative supervision. In October of the next year, the whole province was divided into seven administrative supervision districts, and Qingliu was the seventh.
In 1936, Fujian Province was divided into nine administrative supervision districts, and Qingliu was the ninth. In July of the next year, the whole province was divided into six administrative supervision districts, and Qingliu was the sixth administrative supervision district (Yongan).
On February 22, 1950, Qingliu was liberated. Qingliu belonged to Yong'an Office of Fujian Provincial People's government. In May 1956, it was incorporated into Longyan Commissioner's office. In February 1959, Qingliu and Ninghua merged and became Qingning county.
On June 6, 1961 (approved in September), Qingliu County was restored, belonging to Longyan Commissioner's office.
In May 1963, it belonged to the office of the Commissioner of Sanming. In 1968, it belonged to the Sanming regional Revolutionary Committee.
On November 7, 1968, Qingliu County Revolutionary Committee was established.
On October 28, 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Qingliu County was renamed the people's Government of Qingliu County, which still belongs to the office of Sanming commissioner.
In April 1983, it was under the jurisdiction of Sanming City.

On September 25, 2006, Donghua township was abolished and merged into Longjin Town. The merged Longjin Town governs 14 village committees in Chengdong, Chengnan, Caishi, daluchou, Yanfang, Hengxi, Nanqi, qiaoxia, Gongfang, Yufang, Nuanshui, Jitou, Xiage and Bali, and 4 neighborhood committees in Yucang, Changxing, Fengxiang and Cuiyuan. On December 14, 2007, Deng's hometown was abolished and merged into Lingdi town. The merged Lingdi town has 14 village committees, namely Lingdi, Linghe, Qingjia, Yangyuan, Yaofang, Daping, Buyun, Dengjia, Tianquan, Mazhai, youfangjia, Jilong, kengjia and Guyang. The people's Government of Lingdi town is now stationed at No. 52 Qunying street.

Geology and geomorphology
The strata in Qingliu County are well developed, which are representative from Proterozoic to Quaternary. The exposed area is 1163.8 square kilometers, accounting for three fifths of the total area of the county. The distribution of strata is basically controlled by the NE trending tectonic line. The shawutang Lijia line in the southeast is mainly derived from the late Paleozoic sedimentary strata; the Sinian Cambrian metamorphic strata are mainly exposed at the junction of the northwest and Ninghua County; the intrusive rocks and sporadic exposed sedimentary rocks are mainly distributed in the northeast and middle of the county; and the Mesozoic red bed basin soil is mainly distributed along the Mingxi Qingliu line. The oldest stratum is Sinian system. From Sinian to Ordovician, the county has been in the stage of geosynclinal development. At the end of Silurian, affected by Caledonian orogeny, the geosynclinal history of this area ended. In each period of geological development, structural changes with different intensities, such as faults, folds, volcanism, magmatic intrusion and metamorphism, constitute a complex geological history of the county.

Due to the uplift of neotectonic movement and the strong erosion and cutting of stream water, the hilly landform with low mountains and hills widely distributed in the territory and scattered basins and mainly low mountains was formed.
