Hefei high tech Industrial Development Zone Hefei National High tech Industrial Development Zone is one of the first batch of national high tech zones approved by the State Council in 1991, covering an area of 128 square kilometers. It is the West sub center of Hefei City, adjacent to the municipal government and Xinqiao International Airport, with "one mountain and two lakes" as its own. On February 27, 2017, the construction mobilization meeting of Hefei comprehensive national science center and quantum information and quantum technology innovation research institute was held in Hefei high tech Zone, marking that Anhui has occupied an important position in the national innovation pattern and has become an important force representing the country to participate in global science and technology competition and cooperation.
