Yunhe County, a county under the jurisdiction of Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the southwest of Zhejiang Province, between east longitude 119 ° 21 ′ - 119 ° 44 ′, north latitude 27 ° 53 ′ - 28 ° 9 ′, adjacent to Liandu District of Lishui City in the East, Longquan City in the West, Jingning She Autonomous County in the South and Songyang County in the north. Historical evolution
In 1452, it was divided into Fuyun County of Lishui County and banjian County of Yuanhe Township, named Yunhe County. In the first year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1522), East and West gates were set up near dongrenfang and xichengfang. The east gate was called "Binyang" (also known as Yangjing), and the west gate was called "Fumin" (also known as Tongfu), and three buildings were built.
In 1688, the city gates were built on the two closed sites and surrounded by walls. Qianlong 40 years (1775), Jiaqing 13 years (1808) twice rebuilt, adding the north and South Yingxun and Gongchen two gates, renamed the east gate, "Binyang" for Qingyang gate, the west gate "Fumin" for Fu'an gate, the gates are equipped with pavilions, between the gates with bricks, pebbles to build a low wall. So far, the framework of Yunhe ancient city has been basically formed. After that, although it was repaired several times in Daoguang, Xianfeng and Guangxu years, the appearance and scale of the ancient city remained unchanged, and then the gate and most of the city walls were not well preserved.
In 1925, the provisional party headquarters of the Kuomintang in Yunhe County was established. On May 20, 1927, the party headquarters of the Kuomintang in the independent district of Yunhe County was established. In 1928, it was renamed Yunhe County Party Affairs Steering Committee. In 1930, it was renamed the party headquarters of the independent district of Yunhe County. It was the temporary capital of Zhejiang Province from June 1941 to October 1944 during the Anti Japanese war.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was renamed Chengguan town and Yunhe town. In 1958, Yunhe was incorporated into Lishui County. In 1962, Yunhe County and Jingning County were designated to rebuild Yunhe County. In 1984, Yunhe County was divided into Yunhe and Jingning counties. On November 16, 2001, Yunhe County was approved to abolish Shaxi Township and expand the administrative area of Yunhe Town: to abolish the organizational system of Shaxi Township and merge it into Yunhe town. Yunhe town governs 36 villages and 10 residences, and is located at 376 Zhongshan Road (original site).

Yunhe is a mountainous county with "nine mountains, half water and half farmland". It is mainly composed of high hills, low and middle mountains. The terrain inclines from southwest to northeast. The mountains include Donggong mountain in the South and xianxialing mountain in the north. Among them, Yunhe basin covers an area of 26 square kilometers, which is the main grain producing area in Yunhe County. Yunhe mountain range has more than one branch of Donggong mountain range in the South and xianxialing mountain range in the north. There are 184 peaks above 1000 meters above sea level, mostly distributed in the southwest. Baihejian, the highest peak, is 1593.1 meters above sea level.

Heavenly stems and Earthly Branches of Yunhe County are two main tributaries of the upper reaches of the Oujiang River: the Longquan stream, the Oujiang main stream, and the Wutong pit, a tributary of the Oujiang tributary. The theoretical reserve of hydropower resources is 155700 kW, and the annual power generation is 1.05 billion kwh. Wutong pit has the best water resources. The main stream of Fuyun river has the highest utilization rate.
Longquan river meanders from southwest to northeast. Its main stream is 49 kilometers long, and its drainage area is 837.93 square kilometers, accounting for 85.16% of the total area. The main tributaries are maxiang River, Fuyun River, shitangkeng River and Quanxi river. Another Wutong pit, which originated in the foot of the white crane tip mountain in Southwest China, flows through the river of Wutong Township, Jingning county. It is 24.10 kilometers long, with an area of 146.07 square kilometers, accounting for 14.84% of the total area.
