Gongshu District Gongshu District, belonging to Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the middle of Hangzhou city. It covers an area of 69.25 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 380879 registered residence in Gongshu District and 10 streets under Gongshu District.

Gongshu District is named after Gongchen bridge and Hushu. In May 1949, the eighth District of Hangzhou was changed into Gongshu District. History of construction

Gongshu District is named after Gongchen bridge and Hushu.

At the end of Neolithic age, Gongshu District was inhabited by human beings.

From Qin Dynasty to Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Qiantang county.

From Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, it belongs to Renhe county.

In 1912, it belonged to hang county.
