Lanxi County Lanxi County is a county under the jurisdiction of Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province. Its geographical coordinates are 46 ° 12 ′ 57 ″ to 46 ° 18 ′ 2 ″ north latitude and 126 ° 22 ′ 12 ″ to 126 ° 28 ′ 6 ″ east longitude. It is a cold temperate semi humid monsoon climate. It is close to Qinggang county and Wangkui County in the north, Beilin District in the East, Zhaodong city in the west, Anda City in the northwest, and 67 kilometers away from Harbin, the provincial capital. It covers an area of 2499 square kilometers. As of 2010, Lanxi County has 2.16 million mu of cultivated land, 340000 mu of grassland and 106300 mu of water surface. The total population is 530000 (2013), including 388000 agricultural population and 5.6 mu per capita cultivated land. There are 15 rural towns, 105 administrative villages and 773 natural villages in the county.
The main food crops in Lanxi County are corn, soybean, rice, wheat, millet and sorghum; the economic crops are flax, flue-cured tobacco, beet, oil, etc.
In 2013, the GDP of Lanxi County was 4.67 billion yuan, the fiscal revenue was 374 million yuan, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 10237 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 5877 yuan.
Lanxi County main tourist attractions are: Xianyou palace, Donglin temple. The main specialties are: Lanxi cantaloupe, Lanxi Guaqian. On May 5, 2019, the Heilongjiang provincial government approved Lanxi County to withdraw from the poverty-stricken county sequence. In December 2019, it will become a pilot unit for the construction of national rural governance system.
The origin of the name
In 1732, a garrison of Hulan city was set up and named after Hulan. Hulan Manchu means chimney. Lanxi County is named Lanxi because it is located on the West Bank of Hulan River.
Historical evolution
Before Qing Dynasty
Two or three thousand years ago, there were many primitive people living here in Hulan River Basin. From the remains of hand-made red pottery and pottery pots found at the site of the training platform (now Shuguang village, Lanhe township), it can be seen that before Qin Dynasty, during the spring and Autumn period of the Western Zhou Dynasty, human tribes had been formed in Lanxi, which belongs to the culture of the filthy people. In the Qin Dynasty, Lanxi belonged to Fuyu. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Lanxi was the junction of heishuipei and damerlou, which was under the jurisdiction of heishuifu. In the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of Heishui Dufu. After the establishment of Heishui Dufu in 471, Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of Heishui Dufu. During the Liao Dynasty, Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of Jingdao in Eastern Liaoning Province. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Lanxi was administratively under the jurisdiction of Jin Huining government. in the Yuan Dynasty, the land of Lanxi belonged to the sub fiefdom of timugogo Chijin, the younger brother of Genghis Khan. Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of shuidadalu. In the first year of Yuanzhen (1295), wanhufu was established in Zhaozhou, and Lanxi was the territory of wanhufu in Zhaozhou. in Ming Dynasty, Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of nuergandu Siwu Youwei.
Qing Dynasty
In the early Qing Dynasty, Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of Shengjing governor (later changed to angbang Zhangjing). in 1653, he was under the jurisdiction of angbang Zhangjing of ningguta. In 1662, the Qing government changed angbang Zhangjing of ningguta to the general of ningguta, and Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of ningguta. In 1683, the Qing government approved the establishment of Heilongjiang general to take charge of Heilongjiang area, and set up eight Kalun (posts and gates) on both sides of Hulan River. Lanxi was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang general. In 1732, a garrison of Hulan city was set up, and Lanxi was under its jurisdiction. In 1867 (the sixth year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty), Taoist Mao Jiyun built a civil structure guanyue temple with Niangniang Temple in the west of the South Road of Shizi street in Lanxi town. Since then, people have called this place "Shuangmiaozi". Lanxi County was established on December 24, 1905.
the Republic of China era
In 1922, Lanxi County built an earthen city wall around the county seat, with the base width of 1.5 meters, the top width of 1 meter, and the top made of sorghum straw pillow. The wall was 2.1 meters high and 8000 meters long. There are earthen fortresses at the four corners of the county. The cross street in the city is a north-south East-West intersection, with a length of 3.3 Li for east-west street and 4.7 Li for North-South street. A gate is set up in the East, West, North and south of the city. The plaque on the gate is engraved with "Yingxu", "Qihua", "Laixun" and "Gongchen" respectively. A square stone is erected outside the south gate, and the four words "unite as one city" are engraved on it. In July 1932, the Japanese aggressor troops drove more than 10 tanks into Lanxi County through the south gate, occupied Lanxi County, disarmed the security corps and garrison, and Lanxi County was occupied. Chen wankai, the former county magistrate, defected to the enemy and became the pseudo county magistrate. Lanxi County is under the jurisdiction of Binjiang province. On September 19, 1945, the Soviet Red Army entered Lanxi County and drove away the Japanese invaders. In early October, after the Soviet Red Army left Lanxi for Zhaodong, Sukun, the former head of the puppet Lanxi County, and Xie Chunting, the big landlord, organized and established the Lanxi County Security brigade in an attempt to maintain the puppet regime. On November 7, the 6th regiment of the 10th brigade of the 7th Division of the Northeast People's autonomous army first attacked the south gate at about 11 pm after the puppet regime of Lanxi County refused to negotiate peace. The fighting lasted for 33 hours. At 7 am on November 9, it attacked the compound of the puppet County Office, annihilated the security forces, captured Su Kun and Xie Chunting, and liberated Lanxi. The democratic united government of Lanxi County was established under the jurisdiction of Songjiang province. From 1946 to 1948, Lanxi County belonged to Longnan area of Heilongjiang Province.
After the founding of new China
Lanxi County was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province from 1949 to 1956. From 1956 to August 26, 1958, Lanxi County was under the jurisdiction of Suihua Commissioner's office of Heilongjiang Province. From August 27, 1958 to July 10, 1965, Lanxi County was under the jurisdiction of Songhuajiang Commissioner's office of Heilongjiang Province. From July 11, 1965 to 1985, it was under the jurisdiction of Suihua administrative office of Heilongjiang Province. In 1992, Lanxi County was located in the Midwest of Heilongjiang Province and the east of Songnen Plain. The county government is located in Lanxi town. on March 11, 2015, Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved Suihua City to remove Hongguang Township from Lanxi County and set it as a town, with Hongguang township as the administrative region of Hongguang Town, and the original subordinate relationship and the location of the government remain unchanged.

Lanxi County is adjacent to Qinggang county and Wangkui County in the north, Suihua County in the East, Zhaodong city in the west, Anda City in the northwest, and 67 kilometers away from Harbin, the provincial capital.

Lanxi County is located in the southeast of Songnen Plain, which belongs to the east edge of Songnen Plain. It is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with an altitude of 116.6-209.8 meters. The lowest point is Changhong village in Lanhe Township, and the highest point is Xin'an village in Bei'an township. The central lahagang and Hulan River run through the whole territory from north to south. The high plain on the West Bank of Hulan River is divided by wide valley of Yanjiagou, so Lanxi County can be divided into three obvious geomorphic units: Valley Plain in the east of Hulan River, lahagang platform in the middle and Mangang plain in the West.

The annual average temperature is 2.9 degrees, the hottest is in July, the average temperature is 22.6 degrees, and the extreme maximum temperature is 37.6 degrees, which appeared on June 26, 1980; the coldest is in January, the average temperature is minus 20.3 degrees, and the extreme minimum temperature is minus 39 degrees. The longest frost free period was 160 days in 1972 and 115 days in 1967. the annual total solar radiation of Lanxi County is 115.7 kcal / cm2, the maximum is 14.9 kcal / cm2 in June, and the minimum is 3.9 kcal / cm2 in December. Lanxi County is located in Harbin to Heihe highway, Suihua to Zhaoyuan highway and Lanxi to anda highway constitute the backbone of highway traffic. Harbin north new town is located on both sides of Harbin Heihe highway. The core area is 50km away from Harbin Taiping International Airport and 20km away from Zhaodong railway marshalling station. Lanzhou Zhaoqing railway has been included in the construction plan.
