In the fifth year of the Republic of China (1916), the Wuyun Administration Bureau was set up, which was subordinate to the heihehe Yin office. In 1970, it was assigned to Yichun city. Jiayin county has won the titles of "National Garden County", "national health county" and "national civilized county". There are Dinosaur National Geopark, maolangou National Forest Park and other attractions.
