Cuiluan district is located in the hinterland of Xiaoxing'an Mountains and the west of Yichun forest region. Its geographical coordinates are 128 ° 12 ′ 30 ″ E and 47 ° 59 ′ 10 ″ n. Historical evolution
In 1928, the national government abandoned the road and Cuiluan was subordinate to Tangyuan County, Sanjiang province. In 1942, the railway from Nancha to yisongdianzi was built in puppet Sanjiang province. The next year, the railway station was built, named Cuiluan station. After the restoration of Northeast China in 1945, Cuiluan was under the jurisdiction of Nancha district (the Fifth District) of Tangyuan county. After the victory of the "93" Anti Japanese War, it was subordinate to Nancha District of Tangyuan county. In April 1948, Cuiluan transportation station was established. In June 1949, Cuiluan forestry office was established. In 1950, it was renamed Cuiluan forest industry branch. In December 1952, when the Fourth District People's Government of Yichun county was established, it was under the jurisdiction of Yichun County, and Cuiluan was a town under the jurisdiction of Yichun county. In July 1953, it was renamed Cuiluan Forest Industry Bureau. In October 1956, Cuiluan forest management area was established. In 1957, after Yichun removed the county and established the city, Cuiluan district was established under the jurisdiction of the city. In November 1958, Cuiluan Forest Industry Bureau and Forest Management District merged. In April, it was renamed Cuiluan Forestry Bureau. In October, Cuiluan people's commune was established. In August 1964, the District People's Committee merged with Cuiluan forestry bureau to implement the "government enterprise integration" management system, which is subordinate to Yichun special economic zone. in 1967, it was transferred to Yichun City as a municipal district. On September 22, 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Cuiluan district was abolished and the people's Government of Cuiluan district was restored. In 1992, Cuiluan district was under the jurisdiction of Yichun city. The district government and Cuiluan forestry bureau are located in Cuiluan street. it will be abolished in 2019 and Wucui district will be established with most of Wumahe district.
