Historical evolution
The name of Yichun district comes from the name of Yichun city. Yichun, translated from Manchu, means "material and fur" in Chinese. Originally under the jurisdiction of Tangyuan county.
In 1939, it was under the jurisdiction of dailing village, tangyuan county.
