Historical evolution
At the end of Qing Dynasty, Jiguanshan was under the jurisdiction of Mishan Prefecture.
In the early days of the Republic of China, Liaoyang people settled in the west of Jiguan mountain, under the jurisdiction of Mishan county.
After the tenth year of the Republic of China (1921), it was subordinate to the Sixth District and the fifth insurance. With the development of coal field, population gathering, industry and commerce gradually developed.
