Taobei District Taobei district is one of the municipal districts of Baicheng City in Jilin Province, located in the northwest of Jilin Province and the middle of Baicheng city. It is adjacent to Zhenlai county and Da'an City in the East and Taonan city in the West and south. The total area is 2525 square kilometers. Historical evolution
Four thousand years ago in the Neolithic age, there were primitive tribal residents living and reproducing in this place.
The spring and Autumn period, Warring States period and Qin Dynasty belong to Donghu area.
In Han Dynasty, Fuyu and Xianbei were the two places. During the Three Kingdoms and the two Jin Dynasties, Fuyu was a vassal of the slavery kingdom.
In the southern and Northern Dynasties, it belonged to Wuji, and in the Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Qidan. After the Sui Dynasty unified China, in 648 ad, the Tang Dynasty set up the songmo governor's office in Yingzhou (now Chaoyang, Liaoning Province) to govern this area. At the beginning of the 10th century, it was under the jurisdiction of Liao Dynasty. At that time, the famous "Taizhou City" was built in sijiazi, a city on the North Bank of Taoer River, about 20 kilometers southeast of Taobei district.
At the beginning of the 12th century, it was under the jurisdiction of Jin. Until the third year of Chengan (1198), Taizhou was reduced to Jin'an county.
After 1234 ad, under the jurisdiction of the Yuan Dynasty, Taining County was set up in Taizhou, which became the political and economic activity center of the area at that time.
After 1387 ad, it was under the jurisdiction of the Ming Dynasty, and the Taizhou station of Taining Wei was located in Taizhou city to govern this area.
At the beginning of the 16th century, shortly after the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, it was a nomadic land for the king of zasaktu, the front banner of Horqin Right Wing in Zhelimu League of Inner Mongolia.
On the second day of June in the thirtieth year of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (July 14, 1904), Jing'an county (now Taobei District of Baicheng City) was established and subordinate to Shengjing general.
In 1906, Jing'an county was subordinate to Fengtian province.
In the first year of Xuantong (1909), taochang was set up in Fengtian province, and Jing'an county was subordinate to taochang.
In February 1913, Fengtian province changed "road" to "road", and Jing'an county was subordinate to North Road of Fengtian province.
In 1914, Jing'an county was renamed tao'an county.
In 1929, Fengtian province was renamed Liaoning Province, and tao'an county was subordinate to Liaoning Province. In June of the same year, the reclamation Office of Xing'an district was stationed in tao'an county. With the approval of the Northeast government affairs committee, the Preparatory Office of Xing'an municipal administration was set up in tao'an county.
In 1931, the September 18th Incident ended with the Japanese invasion.
In 1938, tao'an county was renamed Baicheng County, which belongs to Heilongjiang Province.
In the 34th year of the Republic of China (August 15, 1945), the name of Taoan county was restored after the restoration of Northeast China. In December of the same year, Taoan County democratic government was established.
From the 35th year of the Republic of China to the 38th year of the Republic of China (1946-1949), tao'an county was successively subordinate to the office of baichengzi administrative inspector of Nenjiang Province, the office of nennan administrative director of Liaoji District, the four special offices of Liaoji administrative office, the four special offices of Liaobei Province, the rear Office of Liaobei provincial government, Nenjiang province and Heilongjiang Province.
In October 1950, Taoan county was renamed Baicheng county. In August 1954, Baicheng county was transferred from Heilongjiang Province to Jilin Province, under the office of baichengzi district commissioner. On October 15, 1958, Baicheng county was abolished, Baicheng town and four townships of Hongqi, Qingshan, Sanhe and Daxing were established, and Baicheng City (county level) was established. It is subordinate to Baicheng district administrative office of Jilin Province.
On June 14, 1993, with the approval of the State Council, Baicheng district administrative office of Jilin Province was abolished and Baicheng City (prefecture level) was established; Baicheng City (county level) was abolished and Taobei District of Baicheng City (county level) was established under the jurisdiction of Baicheng city of Jilin Province.
