Zhanqian district is located in the core of Yingkou, the central city of Liaodong Bay. It covers an area of 82.31 square kilometers and has a resident population of 383000. Yingkou City is the political, financial, cultural, educational, health, business center, and radiation Liaodong Bay surrounding areas. The transportation in front of the station is very convenient, with railway, highway and water transportation extending in all directions. Yingkou railway station, Yingkou long-distance passenger transport center and Yingkou old port area are all located within the jurisdiction. Historical evolution
In the early Qing Dynasty, rongkuili, Huzhu Li and Caishi Li in the west of Zhanqian district were called dongyingzi.
In 1840 (the 20th year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty), Sanyi temple was built in dongyingzi. In addition, there are tangguantun (today's zhongxingli), taijiatun (today's fuqiangli), hejiatun (today's nanguangli, nanyaoli area) and niujiatun (today's laowuli) and other residential villages.
In 1861 (the 11th year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty), Yingkou replaced Niuzhuang as a trading port. Britain, France, the United States, Japan, Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway and other countries set up consulates near Sanyi temple in dongyingzi, and European and American foreign banks and banks also concentrated here.
In 1864 (the third year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty), the Qing government set up Shanhai customs in this area.
In 1899 (the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), Russia extended the East China Railway extension from Dashiqiao to niujiatun of Yingkou, and built a railway station and a wharf in niujiatun, which made the areas of laowuli, daochazili and niutunli of today's Dongfeng sub district office a gathering place for residents.
On August 4, 1900, by suppressing the Boxer Movement in Yingkou, the tsarist Russia occupied Yingkou militarily and established a Russian military ruling organization - "Yingkou Civil Affairs Department" (today's eight fields). The area in front of the station was occupied by Russia along with Yingkou.
After the Russo Japanese war in 1904, the Japanese army occupied Yingkou and forcibly opened up "Xinshi Street" in today's Zhanqian district as a Japanese residential area, and suiyingkou in Zhanqian district was a Japanese occupied area.
In December 1906, Japan returned Yingkou, Yingkou Coastal Defense Tongzhi hall and fengjinshan Haiguan bingbei road returned to Yingkou, and the area in front of the station was under the jurisdiction of the Qing government.
Before 1909, the district belonged to GAIPING county. After the establishment of Yingkou Zhili hall in 1909, it was changed to GAIPING county.
In 1913, Yingkou Zhili hall was changed into Yingkou County, which was subordinate to the district except for the "Manchurian Railway affiliated area".
In 1938, Yingkou county was changed into Yingkou City, with Dahe District, suiding District, Dongchang District and Zhenxing District (6 streets).
In April 1946, when the Kuomintang ruled Yingkou, it changed Dahe District into Fuxing district and implemented the Baojia system. There were 16 baogongsuo in the area.
In February 1948, Yingkou was liberated for the third time. Yingkou democratic government was established again. The old districts were abolished and eight districts were established, including prosperity, happiness, victory, Hebei, industry and agriculture, railway station, construction and democracy. In front of the station, there are stations, construction and democracy areas.
In August 1949, the district system was abolished and 17 police stations were set up. The police and government were integrated into one system. Five police stations were set up in the District, including the station, Jianshe, Yimin, badian and the third floor.
Since 1950, the district system has been restored, named after the ordinal number, and five districts have been established, with Zhanqian district as the first district.
In July 1956, districts 1 to 4 were abolished, and nine offices were set up, including industry, railway station, construction, badian, fishing market, Desheng, Xishi, Shengli and Qinghua. Suburban offices were set up in District 5, which was divided into Lunan, nongchang and huayingtai townships, with jurisdiction over 27 villages.
In 1957, the division of Yingkou City was adjusted to set up three districts, namely Zhanqian, Xinhua and Xishi, with jurisdiction over nine sub district offices. In front of the station, there are three sub district offices: industry, station and construction. The name of Zhanqian district has been used up to now.
In 1960, the Industrial Street was abolished, and the neighborhood committee under its jurisdiction was transferred to the paper mill.
In 1961, Dongjiao sub district office was established from the station sub district office, Dongjiao sub district office, Dawning sub district office, Gongyuan sub district office, Dongfeng sub district office and Gangtie sub district office.
The station street was renamed Zhanqian street in 1964 and Yuejin Street in 1966.
In 1963, Yingkou City abolished Xinhua District and designated batian street as Zhanqian district.
In 1974, Yingkou paper mill Xinxing people's commune was assigned to Zhanqian district.
In 1979, it was renamed Xinxing sub district office.
In March 1980, the sports street was designated from batian street, and Jianfeng street, Fengshou street and Changsheng street were designated from Jianshe street.
In 1986, the administrative district of Yingkou reform through labor corps was changed to be subordinate to Zhanqian District, and a new sub district office was established in July of the same year. So far, Zhanqian district has jurisdiction over 7 sub district offices, including badian, Jianfeng, Jianshe, Yuejin, Dongfeng, Xinxing and Xinjian.
In 2012, Guangming Village, Dongjia village, Xinxing village and Daxing village in the old border area were divided into Zhanqian district. After the adjustment, the new area in front of the station is about 8.91 square kilometers, and the new population is about 12014.
