Haicheng Haicheng city belongs to Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is located in the hinterland of Liaodong Peninsula and in Shenyang Economic Zone. It is adjacent to Anshan, the capital of Liaoning Province, to the north, Yingkou and Dalian, to the south, Benxi, the city of coal and iron, and Dandong, the border City, to the East, and Panjin, the new oil field city, across the river to the West. Historical evolution
During the Warring States period, it belonged to Liaodong County of Yan state.
In the Han Dynasty, Xinchang (now Xiangyang Village, Ganquan Town), Liaodui (now East Bank of Sancha River, Xisi town) and Anshi (now Yingchengzi, Bali Town) were built in the county.
During the period of the Three Kingdoms, Wei occupied the north, belonging to Pingzhou, and later changed to Youzhou.
In the Western Jin Dynasty, Xinchang, Liaodui (tunnel) and Anshi were abolished.
In 404, after the Sixteen States of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it was divided by Koguryo for more than 260 years.
During the period of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, there was a famous historical city called Sanjiang Yuehu City, which is now near the Stone Mountain Park of haichengcuo. In the first year of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty (668), the unified territory was set up in Anshi Prefecture, belonging to Anton's Prefecture.
In Liao Dynasty, Haizhou, Tongzhou and Yaozhou were built in the territory, and Linming, Xianxiang, Ximu and Yanyuan counties were set up together. Nanhaizhou was set up in Haizhou, and Linming county was also set up as the state governance, which was subordinate to Liaodong Road. The name of Haicheng originated from Haizhou.
In the Jin Dynasty, Haizhou was changed into Chengzhou, which governed Linming and Ximu counties and was under the jurisdiction of Dongjing road.
In the Yuan Dynasty, in 1297, all the prefectures and counties in the territory were abolished, and "the town of inspection department" was under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang road.
In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Haizhou was established as a province of Shandong Province; in the eighth year of Hongwu, Haizhou was abolished. Hongwu nine years (1376) set up haizhouwei, under the command of Liaodong city.
In 1653, Haizhou was changed into Haicheng. It is under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang Prefecture. Shunzhi 14 years (1657) Liaoyang removed the house, changed to fengtianfu (now Shenyang).
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoshen road in Fengtian province. In 1929, Fengtian province was changed to Liaoning Province, and Haicheng county was subordinate to Liaoning Province as a first-class county. After Japan occupied Northeast China in 1931, the puppet Manchu government changed Liaoning Province into Fengtian province, and Haicheng county was changed into Fengtian province. In 1937, the Puppet Manchurian government abolished Yingkou County, which was divided into Haicheng County in the East and Panshan County in the West. In 1945, after the surrender of Japan, the democratic government of Haicheng County under the leadership of the Communist Party of China was established, which was subordinate to Liaonan administrative office of Liaoning Province. In April 1946, the Kuomintang government changed Northeast China into nine provinces, and Haicheng county was still subordinate to Liaoning Province. In October 1947, the PLA liberated Haicheng county. In February 1948, another Niuzhuang county was set up in the county, and the county government was set up in today's Niuzhuang town. After the liberation of Northeast China in November, Haicheng county was under the jurisdiction of Liaodong province (the provincial capital is now Dandong City).
In 1954, Liaodong and Liaoxi provinces merged into Liaoning Province, and Haicheng county was under the leadership of Liaoyang Special Office of Liaoning Province.
In 1959, it was changed to Anshan City.
In 1965, it was transferred to Liaonan special office (the special office is located in today's Gaizhou city).
In 1966, during the "Cultural Revolution", the people's Committee of Haicheng county (i.e. the county government) was abolished. In March 1967, the Revolutionary Committee of Haicheng county was established, which was subordinate to Yingkou City.
In 1973, it belonged to Anshan City.
In July 1980, the county Revolutionary Committee was renamed the county people's government.
In January 1985, with the approval of the State Council of the people's Republic of China, Haicheng county was abolished and Haicheng City (county-level city) was established, which is subordinate to Anshan City.
