Huade County is a county under the jurisdiction of Ulanqab city in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the northeast of Ulanqab city. Xianghuang Banner in the north, Shangdu County in the West and south, and Kangbao County in Hebei Province in the East.
In 2017, Huade County, with a total area of 2534 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 3 towns, 3 townships, 87 village committees, 9 communities, 325 natural villages, with a registered population of 163700, including 36600 urban population, 127100 rural population, and 50900 rural permanent residents. It is a Mongolian, Han, Manchu, Hui, Korean and other multi-ethnic County of agriculture and animal husbandry. On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce. In March 2020, the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region approved Huade County to withdraw from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
In 2018, the GDP of Huade County was 4.747 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%.
Historical evolution
From the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty, Huade County belonged to Hun Monan. It belonged to Xianbei in the Three Kingdoms and two Jin Dynasties, and to Turks and Khitans in the Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties.
In Liao Dynasty, it was Fengsheng Prefecture of Xijing road; in Jin Dynasty, it was Xuande Prefecture and Fuzhou Prefecture of Xijing road; in Yuan Dynasty, it was Mongolian Nomadic land under the jurisdiction of Xinghe road.
During the Ming Dynasty, it was still a Mongolian Nomadic land.
During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, four herds were added, which were called the twelve banners of Chahar, and Huade was called the pasture land of Shangdu.
After the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), Huade began to open up wasteland.
On June 14, 1914, Chahar Special Administrative Region was established, and today's Huade County was under its jurisdiction. In 1928, Chahar Special Administrative Region was changed into a province, and today's Huade County was subordinate to it.
In March 1934, Huade was set up as a governing Bureau under the jurisdiction of Chahar province. The name of Huade County contains the meaning of "civilizing the people by virtue and civilizing the people by virtue". Its names are arranged in the order of advocating rites, advocating righteousness, Kangbao and Huade. The four counties are called advocating Kant.
On May 12, 1936, the "Mongolian military government" was established in Jiabu temple, and Huade County was changed into "erdemusuoyaletuhot" (Dehua city in Han Dynasty). It implied that king demuruke (demuruke dongrup) could "turn evil into good and help all living beings", which painted a layer of superstition color for his regime. At the same time, King de moved the site of "Chajing Mongolian political association" to Jiabu Temple (now Changshun Town, Huade County).
On August 13, 1945, the Soviet Union and the Mongolian union liberated Huade and established the Huade County People's government, which belongs to the 19th Hebei Chahar special area.
In January 1947, it was changed into Shanghua Kanglian County, and in September 1947, it was changed into Shanghua Kanglian county. On January 23, 1949, the people's Government of Huade County was established under the jurisdiction of Chabei special district of Chahar province.
After liberation, Huade County was under the jurisdiction of Chahar League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in August 1950.
In October 1959, it was under the jurisdiction of Xilingol League. On September 13, 1960, it merged with the inlaid blue flag into the inlaid yellow flag of Shangdu.
On May 28, 1963, Xianghuang Banner of Shangdu county was abolished and the organizational system of Huade County was restored, which was still under the jurisdiction of Xilin Gol League.
In November 1969, Huade County was transferred from Xilin Gol League to Ulanqab League.
In December 2003, it was transferred to Ulanqab city.

In 2012, the total population of Huade County was 175000. There are 11 nationalities, such as Mongolian, Han, Manchu and Hui. Water resources in Huade County mainly come from atmospheric precipitation. There are more than 10 seasonal rivers in the territory, and the flow area is about 2214 square kilometers. During the rainy season, the river is gurgling and the river bed is dry. There are more than 100 seasonal lakes in flood season. There are Minle lake, Wulan lake, Erji lake, etc. with a ponding area of more than 1 square kilometer. The groundwater is mainly distributed in Chaoyang basin, No.7 depression and Deshan depression, while the groundwater resources in other areas are poor.
