Historical evolution
Han Dynasty was the place of Weixu state, which was merged into Yanqi in Wei and Jin Dynasties. In the Tang Dynasty, there was a Geshu tribe. It is said that the famous general of Kaiyuan was the leader of Geshu tribe, formerly known as Geshu Khan. in Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, it was Heshuote Mongolian Nomadic belt. The famous leaders are Gushi Khan and his nephew ezirtu Khan. In 1771, the Heshuote tribe, one of the four Mongol tribes of erlut, returned to the East and was settled by the Qing government in today's Hejing and Heshuo counties. In 1939, he Shuo set up a governing Bureau, which is located in tawen jueken and subordinate to Yanqi administrative region. In 1941, Kuzhi moved to wushitala. In 1946, Heshuo county was established. In 1950, Heshuo county government moved to Qingshuihe, and in April, Heshuo County People's government was established. In 1954, it was subordinate to Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. In 1970, the Yuejin commune, Guangming commune and Bosten Lake in the territory were designated as Bohu county.
