Yuping Dong Autonomous County Yuping Dong Autonomous County is a county under the jurisdiction of Tongren City, Guizhou Province. The county is located between 108 ° 34 ′ - 109 ° 09 ′ E and 27 ° 28 ′ - 27 ° 31 ′ n. The county has a total area of 516.6 square kilometers, 36 kilometers in east-west diameter and 42 kilometers in North-South diameter, with Zhenyuan and cengong in the southeast and Bijiang and Wanshan districts in the north.
Yuping county was originally built in the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727). On November 7, 1984, with the approval of the State Council, Yuping county was abolished and Yuping Dong Autonomous County was established.
In August 2019, it was selected as the pilot county of compact County medical community construction. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the National Health township (county) naming list of 2017-2019 cycle.
Historical evolution
Yuping is a famous river in ancient times. The spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period belonged to the central Chu and Guizhou regions.
Qin Dynasty belongs to Qianzhong county. The Han Dynasty belonged to Wuyang County of Wuling county. The Three Kingdoms period belongs to Wuyang County of Wuling county.
In Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Longbiao County of Yuanling County. In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Weixi County. In the Song Dynasty, pingxitong was set up in Mayang County of Yuanzhou.
From the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty to the 21st year of the Yuan Dynasty (1284), the yejiping barbarian chief sued and was attached to Sizhou for appeasement.
In the 27th year of the Yuan Dynasty, a lawsuit was filed by a barbarian commander in Pingxi and other places, and he was attached to the government of the governor of the people.
In the fifth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1372), it was set up as the Chief Secretary of Yuexi in Chenglong bieping. In the same year, yejiping and huangdaoxi were merged, which was named huangdaoxi Manyi lawsuit.
On March 30, the 23rd year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1390.4.15.), pingxiwei was set up and attached to huguangdu division. In the 25th year, Wu Cheng's longbieping Yuexi chief case was merged into huangdaoxi chief case (wulingping was set up in the Department).
In the 29th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1601), Pingxi Wei was under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province and Huguang in the 31st year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty.
In the 15th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1658), a garrison was set up under the command of Chenyuan Jingdao, the capital of Huguang.
On the fifth day of February in the fifth year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1727), it was transferred to Sizhou Prefecture of Guizhou Province. On March 30 (1727) of the lunar new year, ertai, governor of Fuyun GUI of the Ministry of war, changed Xiwei to Yuping county.
In September of the 35th year of Qianlong (1770.10), it was changed to Tongren Prefecture. In May of the 36th year of Qianlong, it was restored to Sizhou.
In 1913, it belonged to eastern Guizhou Province; in 1923, it directly belonged to Guizhou Province; in 1935, it belonged to the ninth administrative supervision district; in 1936, it belonged to the sixth administrative supervision district; in 1937, it belonged to the first administrative supervision district; in 1941, it merged part of Shengxi County; in 1943, it belonged to the sixth administrative supervision district.
On November 7, 1949, Yuping was liberated from Tongren.
On December 29, 1958, it was incorporated into Tongren County. On August 18, 1961, Yuping county was restored. In February 1966, Wanshan district was set up.
In September 1968, Wanshan Special Zone was changed into Wanshan District, which was restored to Yuping county. In August 1970, Wanshan Special Zone was restored.
On September 7, 1983, Yuping county was abolished and Yuping Dong Autonomous County was established by the State Council's reply (83) Guo Han Zi No. 182. On November 7, 1984, a celebration meeting was held, and the Autonomous County was officially established.
