Qingshen County Qingshen County, subordinate to Meishan City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southwest of Chengdu Plain in Southwest China, with Dongpo District in the north, Leshan in the South and Emei in the West. Now it has jurisdiction over seven towns and three townships, including Qingcheng Town, Nancheng Town, Heilong town and Xilong town. Qingshen is the hometown of cancong, the first generation king of Shu. It is known as "the Southern Silk Road", "little Emei of the ancient Minjiang waterway", "the second hometown of sushi", "the hometown of Ponkan in China" and "the hometown of bamboo weaving art in China".
Historical evolution
Qingshen county is named after the worship of cancong's "Qingyi teaches people farming and mulberry, people are gods".
Before the founding of Qingshen, it belonged to Nan'an County of Qianwei county (today's Leshan City) in the Han Dynasty.
In the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the government was abolished due to social unrest.
In the Southern Dynasties, it belonged to qitongzuo county and qitongjun (now Meishan City).
In 554, the first year of emperor Gong of the Western Wei Dynasty, Qingyi county was established.
In the second year of Baoding in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (562), Qingshen county was changed. In the first year of Dacheng in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (579), Qingcheng county was changed into Qingshen County, and the counties were under the same rule.

In 606, Jiazhou was changed to Meizhou, and Qingshen belonged to Meizhou.
