Bazhou District Bazhou District, subordinate to Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeast of Sichuan Province, at the south foot of Daba Mountain, between 31 ° 31 ′~ 32 ° 4 ′ N and 106 ° 21 ′~ 107 ° 7 ′ e, connecting Tongjiang County and Pingchang County in the East, Yilong County of Nanchong City in the south, Enyang District in the West and Nanjiang County in the north.

Bazhou District belonged to Yugong Liangzhou in ancient times. It was the state of Bazi in the spring and Autumn period. After the Qin Dynasty destroyed Ba, it set up Bajun, which was the reason of the Western Han Dynasty. In the third year of Yongyuan year of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 91), Dangqu county (governing Dazhou area today) was divided into Hanchang County in the north.
In 201, the sixth year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was set up as Brazil county.
Emperor Hui of Jin divided Brazil County into Dangqu county.
At the end of Liu Song (420-479) in the Southern Dynasty, Guihua county was set up, Taigu County was set up in the second year of Tianjian (504) of Emperor Wu of Liang Dynasty, and Bazhou county was set up in the north of Taigu County in the third year of Yanchang (514) of Emperor Xuanwu of Wei Dynasty. In the second year of Daye (607), Emperor Yangdi of Sui Dynasty set up Qinghua County by striking the state.
Tang Fu said that Bazhou belonged to Shannan Xidao. In 742, it was changed from Bazhou to Qinghua county.
In the first year of Qianyuan (758) of emperor suzong of Tang Dynasty, Qinghua county was restored to Bazhou.

In 1917, the Sixth Division headquarters of Sichuan Yasukuni army was stationed in Daxian (governing the old town of Tongchuan District, Dazhou city).
