Yingjing County is subordinate to Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the western edge of Sichuan Basin and the hinterland of Ya'an City. Yingjing was a place of Qiang Nationality in ancient times.

Yingjing river is a secondary tributary of Qingyi River in Minjiang River system, with Xinghe River as the main source. It originates from the southeast foot of Dachang Mine and the West foot of yeniu at the junction of Yingjing County and Luding County, which is called qijiagou. In the East, it flows to liangheshui, Shuanglin village, Sanhe Township, where it receives the Chahe river flowing from the northeast.
