Chuanshan District Chuanshan District, also known as Doucheng and Wuxin, is located in Suining City, Sichuan Province. It is a county-level administrative region approved by the State Council in 2003. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Suining City. It covers an area of 618 square kilometers and governs 14 sub district offices in 5 townships and 7 towns, with a total population of 720000.
Chuanshan District, located in the heart of Sichuan Basin, is an important central node city of Chengdu Chongqing economic circle. The annual pan Chengdu Chongqing economic circle chamber of commerce cooperation summit is held here, which is an important undertaking area for industrial transfer in eastern and Western China. Chuanshan district is a demonstration county (District) of national intellectual property project. On October 22, 2018, it was selected into the list of pilot areas for the integrated development of rural primary, secondary and tertiary industries in 2018.
Chuanshan has a long history. Since the county was established in the Eastern Jin Dynasty for more than 1660 years, it has been a county, government, prefecture, county, and special office. It is known as "a giant town in Dongchuan", "an important town in Central Sichuan" and "little Chengdu". There are a number of international and domestic well-known natural and cultural landscapes, such as Lingquan temple, a thousand year old ancient temple, Guangde Temple, a royal Zen forest, Guanyin lake, a 5A scenic spot twice as large as the West Lake, and the only Sichuan song porcelain Museum in China.
It has been successively named as "national health city", "China's excellent tourism city" and "China's Guanyin culture town". It has more than 20 city cards and enjoys the reputation of "charity city".
Spiritual landscape, splendid culture and distant civilization gave birth to a number of famous scholars, such as monk Zou, the originator of rock candy in the Tang Dynasty, Wang Zhuo, a scholar in the Song Dynasty, Lu Qian, a calligrapher and painter in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Zhang penghe, a famous prime minister in the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Wentao, a great poet of Xingling school in the Qing Dynasty, and Jing Yinyu, a famous translator in modern times.
Historical evolution
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Deyang County of Guanghan county was moved to Chuanshan area. The county administration is located in the present urban area of Suining City. This is where Chuanshan county begins.
In 224, it was divided into four counties, namely Guanghan county and dongguanghan county. Deyang county is under the jurisdiction of dongguanghan county. Today, Chuanshan district belongs to Deyang County, dongguanghan county.
In the sixth year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty (285), dongguanghan County of Shuhan was changed to Guanghan County, and Deyang county was subordinate to Guanghan county. In the first year of Yongning (301), it was divided into Guanghan county and Deyang county. Deyang county is under the jurisdiction of Deyang county. Today, the Chuanshan area still belongs to Deyang county.
In the third year of Yonghe (347) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Deyang county was destroyed and Suining County was established in the southeast of Deyang county. Deyang county was subordinate to Suining County, and the county administration was as before. Today, the Chuanshan area still belongs to Deyang County, Suining County.
In 469, Suining County was renamed East Suining County. Deyang county was subordinate to East Suining County, and the county administration was as before.
In the Southern Qi Dynasty (479-502), the county was established as the old system of Liu and Song dynasties.
Xiaoliang (502-557), Deyang county changed its name to Xiaoxi County, under the East Suining County. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Xiaoxi County, East Suining County.
In the Western Wei Dynasty (535-556), Xiaoxi county was renamed Fangyi County, which was still under the jurisdiction of East Suining County. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Fangyi County, Suining County.
In 557, the first year of Min emperor in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Eastern Suining County was changed into Shishan County, and Fangyi county was subordinate to Shishan County of Suizhou. County governance as before, today's ship mountain territory is Fangyi county.
Sui kaihuang three years (583), the withdrawal of the county to stay in the state, to the state jurisdiction County, Fangyi County under Suizhou. In the third year of Daye (607), the Prefecture was changed into a county, and the county was under the jurisdiction of the county. Fangyi county was subordinate to Suining County, and its governance was as before. This ship mountain area belongs to Suining County Fangyi county.
In 618, the first year of Wude in Tang Dynasty, Suining County was destroyed and Suizhou was restored, with the county under the jurisdiction of Suining Prefecture. Fangyi county is subordinate to Suizhou.
In the first year of Tang Jinglong (707), it was divided into Qingshi County of Suizhou (today's qingshiba of Tongnan County), Suining County was added, and xiaxianba (dafoba) of Tongnan County was set up. Fangyi county is still under the jurisdiction of Suizhou.
In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), Suining County was established by withdrawing Suizhou, and Fangyi county was subordinate to Suining County.
In the first year of Qianyuan (758), Suining County was replaced and Suizhou was established. Fangyi county was subordinate to Suizhou. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Fangyi County of Suizhou.
In 976, in order to avoid the taboo of Emperor Taizong, Fangyi county was renamed Xiaoxi county.
In 1115, Suining Prefecture was upgraded to Suining Prefecture, and Xiaoxi county was subordinate to Suining Prefecture.
In the sixth year of Baoyou (1258) of the Southern Song Dynasty, Xiaoxi county was subordinate to the governor's office of Suining. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Xiaoxi County of Suining.
In the 19th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1282), the governor of Suining was changed to Suining Prefecture, which was subordinate to the province of xingzhongshu in Sichuan. And Qingshi, Suining two counties into Xiaoxi county (now Suining City), under Suining Prefecture. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Xiaoxi County, Suining Prefecture.
During the Yuzhen period (1362-1371) in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties, Xiaoxi county was still under the jurisdiction of Suining Prefecture, and the state and county administration remained unchanged.
In 1376, the name of Xiaoxi county was abandoned, and Suining Prefecture was reduced to Suining County (now Suining City). It is subordinate to Tongchuan Prefecture. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Suining County, Tongchuan Prefecture.
In 1653, Suining County was merged into Pengxi county.
In 1660, Suining County was restored, and its administrative office was still located in today's Suining City.
In 1734, Tongchuan Prefecture was renamed Tongchuan Prefecture, and Suining County was subordinate to Tongchuan Prefecture. Today, Chuanshan area belongs to Suining County, Tongchuan Prefecture.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Suining County was subordinate to Chuanbei Road, which was divided into 3 Li and 13 Chang to set up Dong'an County (renamed Tongnan County in the third year of the Republic of China).
In 1918, Suining County was subordinate to the fifth garrison of Sichuan Province. The present Chuanshan area is located in Suining County, the fifth garrison of Sichuan Province.
In 1935, the government of Sichuan was unified, and Suining County was subordinate to the 12th administrative supervision district of Sichuan Province. Until December 1949. Jinchuanshan district is located in Suining County, the 12th administrative supervision district of Sichuan Province.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Suining County was established in January 1950, under the Suining division of the northern Sichuan administrative office. The present Chuanshan area belongs to Suining County, Suining district.
On September 1, 1952, the administrative office of North Sichuan district was cancelled, and Suining County was subordinate to Suining special district of Sichuan Province. Jinchuanshan district belongs to Suining County, Suining District, Sichuan Province.
In October 1958, Suining district was added to Mianyang District, and Suining County was transferred to Mianyang District of Sichuan Province.
In September 1968, the name of Mianyang area was changed to Mianyang area, and Suining County was subordinate to Mianyang area of Sichuan Province.
In February 1985, Mianyang was abolished and divided into Mianyang, Guangyuan, Deyang and Suining. In May, Suining County was changed to Shizhong District of Suining City. Today, Chuanshan district belongs to Shizhong District of Suining City.

On December 18, 2003, Shizhong District of Suining City was abolished and Chuanshan district and Anju District of Suining City were established as the administrative region of the former Shizhong District. Chuanshan district has jurisdiction over Tangjia, Beigu, Xining, Baosheng and Laochi townships, seven towns of Guihua, Xinqiao, Nanqiang, Fuqiao, Renli, Yongxing and Hesha, and nine streets of Gaosheng, Nanjin, Kaixuan, zhenjiangsi, Jiefu, Yucai, Fuyuan Road, Guangde and Jiahe. The district government is located in Beichen street.
In 2000, the former Shizhong District had jurisdiction over 5 streets, 21 towns and 13 townships.
In 2004, Chuanshan District governed 13 streets (Guangde, Lingquan, ciyin, Jiulian, Longping, Jiahe, Kaixuan Road, Gaosheng street, Yucai Road, Nanjin Road, Jiefu Road, Fuyuan Road, zhenjiangsi Road), 7 towns (Nanqiang, Fuqiao, Yongxing, Renli, Hesha, Xinqiao, Guihua), 5 townships (Beigu, Baosheng, Tangjia, Laochi, Xining).
On September 30, 2004, the organizational system of Beigu village was abolished and Jiulian sub District Office (Beixing and Jiulian neighborhood committees) was established.
In January 2005, Jiulian street was established and managed by the Management Committee of Suining development zone.
In 2008, Chuanshan District governed 13 streets, 7 towns and 5 townships: Nanjin Road Street, Kaixuan Road Street, Gaosheng street, zhenjiangsi street, Yucai Road Street, Jiefu road street, Jiahe street, guangdesi street, Fuyuan Road Street, Longping street, lingquansi street, ciyin street, Jiulian street, Nanqiang Town, Renli town, Fuqiao Town, Yongxing Town, Hesha town and Xinqiao Town Guihua Town, Xining Township, Laochi Township, Baosheng Township, Tang Township and Beigu township. Among them, Jiulian street is managed by the Management Committee of Suining economic and Technological Development Zone.
In December 2010, Nanqiang town of Chuanshan district was renamed Longfeng town.
In 2013, Fuyuan Road Street in Chuanshan district was divided into Fuyuan Road Street and Nanqiang street.
As of 2016, Chuanshan district has jurisdiction over 14 streets, 7 towns and 5 townships.
