Tang County, a county under the jurisdiction of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Hebei Province and the west of Baoding city. It is located in the triangle of Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang. It is adjacent to Shunping County and Wangdu County in the East, Quyang County and Fuping County in the West, Dingzhou City in the South and Laiyuan County in the north, covering a total area of 1417 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 towns, 11 townships and 345 administrative villages. As of October 2020, the total population of Tang county is 605000. The county people's government is located at No. 5 Guangming Road, Renhou town.
In the fourth year of emperor Gaodi of the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC), the county was established, and it was named Tang county because it was the Marquis of the Tang Dynasty in ancient times. Located in the west of Haihe River Basin, the northern part of the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, the northwest part belongs to the middle mountain area, with mountains, hills, plains and rivers. It is known as "seven mountains, one water, two fields". It belongs to warm temperate semi-arid and semi humid continental monsoon climate. There are Beijing Guangzhou railway, Beijing Kunming expressway, Baofu expressway, 107 national and provincial highway Baolai line, Beijing Zan line, Baoping line and Liye line. Historical evolution
In the middle ages, Emperor Yao Fangxun was granted the title of Marquis of the Tang Dynasty. He ruled Yangyi, also known as the Tang Dynasty. In today's Tang County, he is called the Marquis of the ancient Tang Dynasty.
In the spring and Autumn period, there were zuorenyi (hail water in the Zhou Dynasty and hail water in the North), zhongrenyi (now duting), Guyi (now Gaochang in the north, also known as qingduyi) and Yangyi (also known as Tangyi, now Gucheng) in Tang County, which belonged to Yandi and Zhongshan.
In the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Hengshan County.

Tanghe River, one of the major tributaries of Daqing River System in Haihe River Basin, flows through Lingqiu County and Laiyuan County in the southeast after it originates from zeqingling and qiangfengling in the southeast of Hunyuan County, Shanxi Province, flows into the territory from west to east from heilongdonggou in daomaguan Township in the northwest of Tangxian County, flows into Shunping County in the southwest of erdaohe River in the southeast, and flows into Xidayang reservoir with Tongtian River. From the reservoir spillway, spillway, Xindi tunnel out of the mountain, to Diaoyutai village exit into Baiyangdian. Qingshui River, commonly known as beilingzigou, is named seasonal river because of its clear water flow. It originates from the south foot of Baishi mountain in the southeast of Laiyuan County, passes Yinfang in Laiyuan County to the southeast, passes yuhuanggoumen to the southeast, enters the boundary of Tang County, passes taojiawan West, zhoujiabao, silidong, Henan West to the south, and reaches the southwest of Huata village to the Tanghe River.
Countercurrent River, commonly known as backflow River, gets its name because water flows from east to west. It originates from the east of Sushan in the North West of dongyangzhuang, then goes East through the east of Beichengzi village, eastward through the south of Yezhuang village, passes through tangchuan highway in the southwest, westward through the south of beidiantou village, the east of xiyangzhuang village, and the water of Nangou in namazhuang, and flows into Tanghe River in the northwest through the east of Xichi village, the west of Shangzhuang village, the south of nanzhanggezhuang village, and the south of Mingfu village. The total length is 22 kilometers.
Tongtian River originates in the north of Damao mountain, which was called Hengshan in ancient times. In Yugong, it was called Hengshui. In the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor BiWen called Hengshan Changshan, and Hengshui Changshui. In the new Annals of Tang County written by Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, the river was called Henghe because of the homophony of Henghe and Henghe. It was called Tongtianhe in the Republic of China. It is named for the fact that Mt. Damao is the highest and the river can reach heaven. Finally, it converges with Tang River and flows into Xidayang reservoir. The river is a seasonal river, 32 km in Tang County, 40-600 m wide.
The Fangshui River, formerly known as Sushui or Shibai River, originated from the Shibai spring of Ganlu temple in the east of Tang county. Later, it was named as Fangshui river because it flows through Fangshui village. It is a seasonal river, flowing eastward into Quni river.
