Tianlin county is a county under the jurisdiction of Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China. It is the largest county in Guangxi in land area. Located in the northwest of Guangxi, it is an old revolutionary base area with a long history and culture. Located in the center of Nanguikun Economic Zone, it is a commodity distribution center at the junction of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces. There are 11 ethnic groups, including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Yi and Buyi, with ethnic minorities accounting for 73% of the total population. With a total area of 5577 square kilometers, the county governs 165 administrative villages in 5 towns, 5 townships and 4 ethnic townships, with a total population of 267900.
The county has convenient transportation and sound communication network. 165 administrative villages have been connected with highways, and Nanning Kunming railway, 324 National Highway, 357 national highway and g78 Shankun Expressway pass through the whole territory, which is the traffic throat of the southwest sea passage; broadband network and mobile communication business coverage have been completed.

Before liberation
In the Qin Dynasty, the southeast belonged to Xiang County, the northwest belonged to Yelang tribe, and the southwest belonged to gouting tribe.
In the Han Dynasty, the southeast belonged to Guangyu County of Yulin County, the southwest belonged to qunge binggouting Kingdom, and the northwest belonged to Yelang kingdom.
During the period of the Three Kingdoms, Yulin County belonged to Jiaozhou in the southeast, Xinggu County belonged to Yizhou in the southwest and northwest.
In Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Jinxing County of Guangzhou and gouting County of Xinggu County of ningzhou.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, it belonged to Guangyu County, Jinxing County, Nanning, and gouting County, Xiping County, ningzhou.
In Sui Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Xuanhua County, Yulin County, and kunzhou Prefecture.
In the Tang Dynasty, Rulai county was under Yongguan Tianzhou of Lingnan West Road in the southeast, and Shuangcheng and panzhou of Qianzhong road in the northwest.
During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, it belonged to the Southern Han Dynasty, Tianzhou in the southeast and Dali in the northwest.
In the Song Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Youjiang road in Yongzhou, Guangnan West Road, and it was under the jurisdiction of Sicheng prefecture (Jimi prefecture), Lizhou Prefecture, Chengcheng Prefecture and Shanglin cave.
In Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Liangjiang road of xingzhongshu province in Guangxi. It belonged to Lizhou and Sicheng of Tianzhou road and Lucheng (now Lucheng) of Lai'an Road, shanglintong and anlongdong.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Youjiang road of Chengxuan missionary Department of Guangxi, and belonged to Sicheng Prefecture, Shanglin and Anlong respectively.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to sichengfu, Youjiang Road, Guangxi Province, which belonged to Xilin County, Lingyun county and Xilong Prefecture.
During the period of the Republic of China, from 1911 to 1934, it was under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Province, including Xilin, Xilong and Lingyun counties. In the winter of 24 years, Lucheng, Bagui and Gongyang townships and Yangbian village of Zhimiao Township were designated from Xilin County, Jiuzhou and Nanjiao townships were designated from Xilong County, and Leli, LANGPING and Baiping townships were designated from Lingyun county. A total of 8 townships were set up in Tianxi county (fourth class county). It is the fifth (Baise) administrative region of Guangxi, and the county governance is in luchengwei.
After the founding of new China
After liberation, Tianxi county was still established in the early stage. In January 1951, Lizhou township of Lingyun county was designated as the second district. In August 1951, Xilin County was abolished, and the four townships of Ding'an, Badu, Gaoge and zhermiao were put under the jurisdiction of Tianxi County, which was named as Tianlin county. Since March 1953, it belongs to the Western Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (later also known as the prefecture). In March 1958, after the establishment of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it belonged to Baise Commissioner's office. In 1969, it belonged to Baise area. Since 2002, it belongs to Baise City.
Before 1999, Tianlin county had an area of 5576 square kilometers and a population of about 214000. It has jurisdiction over 3 towns and 17 townships (including 6 ethnic townships): Leli Town, Jiuzhou Town, Ding'an Town, Lizhou Yao Township, LANGPING Township, Pingshan Township, Lucheng Yao Township, longche Township, Baile Township, BANTAO Township, Pingtang Township, Gaolong Township, Zhimiao Township, Fuda Yao Township, Badu Yao Township, Bagui Yao Township, Nengliang Township, Dongnong Township, longwa Yao Township and Nabi township. The county government is located in Leli town.
On January 22, 1999, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No.7) agreed to abolish Nengliang Township and establish Liulong town. The town government was stationed in Nengliang street, the original Nengliang township. The administrative areas of Liulong town include the administrative areas of yuannengliang township (except that nase, Liuzhong, pingmu, Batang, Daping, Liuyi and liumiao villages in nase village are under the jurisdiction of Leli town); weiyingtun in Bagui village, Bagui Yao township; Weihong, Bamu and basantun in Bajiang village; Bantu, pingor, Weihua and Liugong villages in pingliu village; Bawu, Dalan and Liugong villages in Dongnong village Pingxi, Xiawei, Weining, Nanong and pingliangtun; Liulong, nengti and weimitun in tanhe village of longwa Yao township; Zhouma, laitun, lingtun, yanheng, bamang and Pinglin in Zhouma village.
After the adjustment, Tianlin county has jurisdiction over 4 towns and 16 townships (including 6 ethnic townships): Leli Town, Jiuzhou Town, Ding'an Town, LIULONG Town, Lucheng Yao Township, longche Township, Lizhou Yao Township, Pingtang Township, LANGPING Township, Pingshan Township, Bagui Yao Township, Dongnong Township, Badu Yao Township, Fuda Yao Township, Nabi Township, Gaolong Township, longwa Yao Township, Baile Township, BANTAO Township and zhemong township.
On June 21, 2005, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No. 176) agreed to adjust the administrative divisions of some townships in Tianlin County: abolish longwa Yao Township, merge the whole system into Bagui Yao Township, and the government residence of Bagui Yao Township remains unchanged; abolish longche Township, merge the whole system into Baile Township, and the government residence of Baile Township remains unchanged; abolish Dongnong Township, merge the whole system into LIULONG Town, and the government residence of Liulong town remains unchanged The land will remain unchanged; BANTAO township will be abolished, and the whole system will be merged into Lucheng Yao Township, and the residence of Lucheng Yao township government will remain unchanged; Pingshan township will be abolished, and the whole system will be merged into LANGPING Township, and the residence of LANGPING township government will remain unchanged; Fuda Yao township will be abolished, and the whole system will be merged into Badu Yao Township, and Badu Yao township government will be stationed in Fuda village, the former Fuda Yao township. After the merger, the new LIULONG Town, Baile Township, Lucheng Yao Township, Badu Yao Township, Bagui Yao Township and LANGPING Township held a listing ceremony on June 25.
On September 27, 2017, LANGPING town held a ceremony of withdrawing villages and establishing towns.
The county now governs 5 towns and 9 townships (including 4 ethnic townships): Leli Town, Jiuzhou Town, Ding'an Town, LIULONG Town, LANGPING Town, Lucheng Yao Township, Lizhou Yao Township, Pingtang Township, Bagui Yao Township, Badu Yao Township, Nabi Township, Gaolong Township, Baile Township and Zhimiao township. The county government is located in Leli town.

Leli town governs: Henan, Xinshi, Xinchang three neighborhood committees; Leli, Xinchang, Xinjian, baihuazhai, Xinning, Fengfeng, culture, Tianping, Nongping, Qiwen, Naguang, nase 12 administrative villages, 89 natural villages, 98 villager groups, the administrative area of the town is 300 square kilometers.
Jiuzhou town governs 14 administrative villages including Jiuzhou, banjian, Nadu, pingman, Zhiwu, Pinglin, Guanglong, yangbai, pingbao, Nanhe, Banyang, Shifu, Laizhou and zenian, and a temporary management committee. The administrative area of the town is 497 square kilometers.
Ding'an town governs eight administrative villages: Ding'an, Weimi, BAXIN, naxiong, namen, Yangrong, Balai and Changjing.
Liulong town has 18 administrative villages, including Nengliang, Taiyang, Yangguang, baihuai, fantun, Xiaolan, mentun, Zhongtun, Gongyang, Xiawei, Pingxi, Liulong, Zhouma, Bantu and Liugong, 126 natural villages and 156 villager groups. The administrative area of the town is 415 square kilometers.
Lucheng Yao township has 19 administrative villages, 116 natural villages and 161 villager groups, including Lucheng, Wangji, Hongqi, Yingpan, Shanhou, Badong, Pingping, Nongdu, geyan, Fengfang, Weixiang, Pinghe and Sanyao. The administrative area of the township is 777 square kilometers.
Lizhou Yao township has nine administrative villages, including Heping, pingbu, Liangfu, Baida, Aishan, Fuxiang, nanglao, Laoshan and Fanchang, 75 natural villages and 115 villager groups. The administrative area of the township is 262.38 square kilometers.
Badu Yao Township governs 17 administrative villages, 123 natural villages and 138 villager groups, including Nanao, liuzhang, Nali, Dongpeng, Badu, bo'e, Hetang, Liulin, Namu, dingmeng and Zhetang. The administrative area of the township is 701 square kilometers.
Bagui Yao Township governs 12 administrative villages, including Bagui, Bagao, Bajiang, pingliu, baxiu, Weibiao, Liudan, longwa, guobu, Zheda, Yanlin and tanhe, 89 natural villages and 104 villager groups, with an administrative area of 382 square kilometers.
Nabi Township governs five administrative villages, including Nabi, Liuyin, Liubang, Punong and Nala, 46 natural villages and 51 villager groups. The total administrative area is 236.24 square kilometers.
Pingtang Township governs 10 administrative villages, including longguohuai, xingliu, Pingtang, Tongxiang, Maocaoping, longwai, maopotian, Weige, Liuchi and Pingji, 142 natural villages and 107 villager groups. The administrative area is 194 square kilometers.
LANGPING Township governs 20 administrative villages, including LANGPING, nongyang, Yangcun, Tanghe, Weigui, nongtuo, Xihua, Xiaoao and Jiangdong, 278 villager groups and 309 natural villages, with an administrative area of 459.99 square kilometers.
Gaolong Township governs seven administrative villages, including zheche, gaoguo, nongnan, Weishan, Xinzhai, Weirong and Dayao, 65 natural villages and 47 villager groups. The administrative area is 266.2 square kilometers.
Baile Township governs 7 villages including Baile, Bangan, genbiao and Badong, 59 natural villages and 90 villager groups. The township administrative area is 532 square kilometers.
It has seven administrative villages, 38 natural villages and 47 villager groups, including Miao, zhehua, Weilong, Bazhong, Bailong, baheng and Liuheng. The administrative area is 263.01 square kilometers.
geographical position
County is located in the transition zone from Guangxi hills to Yunnan Guizhou Plateau. There is Qinglong mountain in the northeast, Jinzhong mountain in the northwest, and Liushao mountain in the south. It is higher in Northeast, northwest, southwest and central China. It gradually inclines to the southeast and North. The landform type of the county is mainly mountainous, which is composed of earth mountain (sandstone and shale) and stone mountain.
