Qinbei district is under the jurisdiction of Qinzhou City. It is located in the south of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, along the coast of Beibu Gulf and in the north of Qinzhou City. Historical evolution
Qinbei district has a long history, which can be traced back to the Neolithic age. In the pre Qin period, Qinzhou belonged to Baiyue. After the first emperor of Qin unified China, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiangjun. From the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms to the Jin Dynasty, Qinzhou belonged to the Hepu County of Jiaozhou. At the end of the Southern Dynasty, the Wanshou county was set up in Yuanjia. Anzhou was established in Liang Dynasty. In 598 ad, it was renamed Qinzhou. in 622 ad, ningyue county was changed to Qinzhou governor's office; in Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou road; in the early Ming Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou Prefecture; in the Republic of China, it was changed to Qinxian County, which is under the jurisdiction of the Qinlian special office of Guangdong Province. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Guangdong Province established the office of the Qinlian administrative commissioner. In 1951, it was transferred to Guangxi Province and established Qinbei Zhuang Autonomous County. In 1955, it was returned to Guangdong Province and was once merged into Zhanjiang special region. In July 1965, Qinbei district was once again subordinate to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and was changed into Qinzhou District Administrative Commissioner's office. In 2012, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No. 75) approved to adjust the administrative boundaries between Qinnan District and Qinbei District of Qinzhou City, and put the Xiangyang sub district office, Shapo community and Yongfu community, Nanzhu sub district office, baishuitang community and Beiying community, Shuidong sub district office, Xiaojiang community and Shantang community under the jurisdiction of Qinbei district.
