Tengxian county is subordinate to Wuzhou City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, bordering Cangwu County, Changzhou district and Longwei District in the East, Cenxi city and Rongxian County of Yulin City in the south, Pingnan County of Guigang City in the west, Mengshan county and Zhaoping County in the north, 55 km away from Wuzhou municipal government, between 23 ° 02 ′ 35 "~ 24 ° 03 ′ 09" n and 110 ° 21 ′ 00 "~ 111 ° 11 ′ 27" E. Tengxian has a subtropical monsoon climate with long summer and short winter and four distinct seasons.

Teng County has a total population of 1079800 (2015). In 2015, the county's GDP reached 20.664 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7% compared with 2014.
Tengxian County, known as Tengzhou in ancient times, was one of the counties that accepted the culture of Central Plains earlier. It was the hometown of yuan Chonghuan, Minister of the Ministry of war in Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty, Li Xiucheng, loyal king of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Chen Yucheng, king of England, and Li Shixian. Historical evolution
Tengxian County, from the pre Qin period to the early Western Han Dynasty, was a place of ancient Yue people, mainly from Xi'ou. Today Cangwu, Yulin, Hepu, Jiaozhi, Jiuzhen, Nanhai and Yuenan are all divided into Guangdong. In the new dynasty of Wang Mang, Cangwu county was renamed Xinguang, and Mengling county was renamed Menglu; the Three Kingdoms belonged to Wu, which was Mengling County of Cangwu County; in the fifth year of emperor mu of Jin Dynasty (361 AD), it belonged to Anyi County of Yongping County.
The Southern Song Dynasty belonged to Anyi, Fengcheng and Funing counties of Yongping County. In the Southern Dynasties, Qi still belonged to Funing and Anyi of Yongping County. In the Southern Dynasties, Liang set up Shizhou in Yongping County, belonging to Shizhou. In the Southern Dynasties, Chen belonged to Yongping and Jianling counties.
Yongping County was abolished in the Sui and Chen dynasties. Shizhou was established in the 10th year of kaihuang (590 A.D.), and Tengzhou was renamed in the 12th year of kaihuang (592 A.D.). In the third year of Daye (607), Tengzhou was taken as Yongping County, belonging to Yongping, anki, sui'an and Chunren, and Yongping County was ruled (qifuning County in the Southern Dynasty, renamed kaihuangzhong).
In 621 ad, Yongping County was changed to Tengzhou, leading Yongping County, Anji County, Wulin County, suijian County, Yang'an County, Puning County, Ningren County, Chunren County, Mengling County, Dabin County, Hechuan county and Rongcheng County; in Zhenguan County, it was changed to Tanjin county and became Tengzhou county. The first year of Zhenguan (627) belongs to Rongzhou general manager's office. In the first year of Tianbao (742), it was renamed ganyi county. In the first year of Qianyuan (758), it was restored to Tengzhou and governed Tanjin (formerly Yongping County), ganyi, Yichang and Ningfeng counties.
In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, it was still Tengzhou; at the beginning, it belonged to Chu, and later to the Southern Han Dynasty.
In the Song Dynasty, it was still Tengzhou. In 972, Ningfeng, ganyi and Yichang entered Tanjin. In 1071, it was under the jurisdiction of Guangnan West Road.
Yuan belongs to Tanjin County of Tengzhou and belongs to huguangxing province; from the first year of Zhizheng (1341) to the end of Hongwu (1368) of Ming Dynasty, it belongs to huguangxing Zhongshu province.
The Ming Dynasty belonged to Wuzhou Prefecture. In September 1369, Tanjin County entered Tengzhou. In May 1377, Tanjin county was demoted to Tengzhou county.
Qingteng county belongs to Wuzhou Prefecture.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, the government set up roads. In February of 1913, Tengxian County belonged to Wuzhou road. In July, Yujiang road was set up, which belonged to Yujiang road. In June 1914, Yujiang road changed its name to Cangwu Road, which belongs to Tengxian county. In March of 1935, it belonged to Wuzhou administrative supervision district. In April of 1941, it was changed to Wuzhou administrative supervision district, which governed Wuzhou City and Tengxian County until liberation.
After liberation, Teng County belonged to Wuzhou District of Guangxi Province. In November 1971, Wuzhou district was renamed Wuzhou district.
In April 1997, Teng County was transferred to Wuzhou City.

In May 1951, Nuodong was designated to Cenxi, and in July, Wu and Yu districts were merged and renamed Rong County District.

In November 1971, Wuzhou district was renamed Wuzhou district. In August 1980, Taiping commune was divided into Taiping Town commune.
In August 1984, Chishui was separated from Nan'an commune. In the same month, each people's commune was renamed Township and town. In November, Baisha was renamed Jinbei township. There were 21 townships in the county.
In January 1987, Taiping Township and Taiping Town merged into Taiping town. In 1990, the county had jurisdiction over 9 townships, 11 towns, 265 village offices, 1186 village committees and 4201 natural villages.
In 1997, Chengguan Township was renamed Tandong Town, and Xinqing, Tongxin, Jinbei and Dongrong townships were renamed towns.
In 2001, the county had 17 towns including Tengcheng, Tandong, Nan'an, Lannan, Jinbei, Jinji, Qiqi, Tongxin, Lingjing, Xinqing, Tianping, Mengjiang, Heping, Taiping, gulong, Dongrong and Dali, 3 townships including Chishui, Ningkang and Pingfu, 266 villagers' committees and 13 residents' committees.

Construction
Tengxian is a compound part of Nanling latitudinal structural belt and Cathaysian Neocathaysian structure. The difference of geological structure between North and south is obvious. The structure in the south is mainly ne. The main structural features are fault block uplift and fault depression basin. For example, Dancun tectonic basin in Yanshanian, along the margin of Cambrian sand shale uplift, and continent tectonic basin in Hercynian. Structural fractures are mainly compressional and torsional, such as Xiaying Chishui fault zone. In the north, the fault structure is mainly close to the north-south direction, followed by the NE and NW fold structures. There are syncline and anticline folds.
