Yongfu County, belonging to Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China, is located in the northeast of Guangxi, southwest of Guilin, between 109 ° 36 ′ 50 ″ - 110 ° 14 ′ 19 ″ e, 24 ° 37 ′ 48 ″ - 25 ° 36 ′ 39 ″ n. Yongfu county is a typical karst landform with many mountains and hills. The mountains above 1100 meters above sea level are distributed in the west, northwest and southeast of the county. In the southwest of the county, there are mountain peaks and forests with an altitude of 300-500 meters. Valley plains and mountain flat lands are all over the area. Tang Zhenguan 12 years (638), Xuanfeng and people rule set, Zhide 2 years (757) rule set renamed Liding, still belongs to Guizhou.
In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Yongfu county first belonged to Chu, then to Guizhou in the Southern Han Dynasty.
In 1132, Guizhou was changed into Jingjiang Prefecture, Yongfu and Liding belong to Jingjiang Prefecture. In Yuan Dynasty, Jingjiang mansion was changed into Jingjiang Road, Yongfu and Liding belong to Jingjiang road.
In 1440, Liding county was merged into Yongfu County, belonging to Guilin Prefecture. Yongning Prefecture was established in the fifth year of Longqing (1571), and Yongfu county was designated as Yongning Prefecture.
In 1912, Yongfu county still belonged to Guilin Prefecture. In the second year of the Republic of China, the government set up Dao, which led the county and Yongfu County belonged to Lijiang Dao.
In 1915, Lijiang road changed its name to Guilin road, and Yongfu County belonged to Guilin road.
In 1926, the Taoist system was abolished and Guilin was renamed as the administrative supervision district. Yongfu county belongs to Guilin administrative supervision district.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), it belonged to Guilin militia District of Guangxi Province.
In 1934, Yongfu County belonged to Guilin administrative supervision area.

In November 1949, Yongfu county was liberated. In 1996, Yongfu County covers an area of 2805 square kilometers and has a population of about 260000. It has jurisdiction over 3 towns and 7 townships: Yongfu Town, Baishou Town, Luojin Town, Taocheng Town, Guangfu Town, Baoli Town, Suqiao Town, Longjiang Town, Sanhuang town and Yong'an town. The county government is located in Yongfu town.
On November 19, 1999, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No. 186) agreed to change Suqiao Township into a town system, with the original administrative region unchanged. After the adjustment, Yongfu county has jurisdiction over 4 towns and 6 townships.

Topography
The landform of Yongfu county is complex and diverse. The two branches of Tianping mountain, dawushan and dachongshan, extend from northwest to South and Southeast, and jiaqiaoling, from south to North and northwest, constitute an n-shaped mountain body in the county. Luoqing river flows from northeast to southwest in the county, separating the southeast and Northwest Mountainous Areas. Dacongshan mountain range extends from north to south, dividing the whole county into two parts: east part, high in Southeast and low in Northwest.
