Linshu County Linshu county is located in the southeast of Shandong Province at the junction of Shandong and Jiangsu. It belongs to Linyi city of Shandong Province and is named after Linshu river. Linshu county was established in the early Han Dynasty. It was a famous old revolutionary base area in modern times. During the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, it was the location of the leading organs of the party, government and army in Shandong Province.
At present, Linshu county has jurisdiction over 7 towns, 2 streets, 1 provincial Economic Development Zone, 1 coastal high-tech industrial zone, 1 provincial scenic spot and 1 modern agricultural development zone, 236 administrative villages (residences), with a population of 640000, and a total area of 1010 square kilometers.
On January 25, 2019, Linshu county was selected as the national "safe agricultural machinery" Demonstration County in 2018. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the National Health township (county) naming list of 2017-2019 cycle.
Historical evolution
The Western Zhou Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of small states such as Zhu and Zhu.
At the end of the spring and Autumn period, Chu and Zhu were destroyed by Lu and belonged to the state of Lu.
During the Warring States period, Linshu area was included in the cross-border, and then returned to Chu.
In the Qin Dynasty, the northern part of Linshu belonged to Ju county of langye County, and the southern part belonged to Tan county of Donghai County.
In the Western Han Dynasty, it was divided into Donghai and Langxie counties.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was divided into Donghai County and Licheng county was set up in Linshu, which governed Tan, Licheng, Zhuqi and other 13 counties.
In the early years of Wei and Huang dynasties (220-226), the eastern and southeastern parts were governed by Zhuqi and Licheng counties of Donghai state. The western and central parts belonged to Qiuxian County of Langya state. The southern and southwestern parts belonged to tan state of Donghai state, and the northern part was Juxian County of Chengyang County.
In the Western Jin Dynasty, the subordinate relationship was basically the same as that in the Wei Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms.
In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, during the later Zhao, former Yan and Former Qin regimes, the southern territory belonged to Donghai County, and the Northern Territory belonged to Langya County; in the later Yan and Southern Yan dynasties, the Northern Territory belonged to Langya County, and the southern territory belonged to Donghai County of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, Liu and Song Dynasties ruled Donghai and Langya counties, while in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Langya county was divided into Qiu county and Donghai County. During the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Northern Qi Dynasty, the whole territory belonged to Langya County of northern Xuzhou.
In the Sui Dynasty, most of them belonged to Linyi County, Langya county. In the East, tangling and Jiaolong were subordinate to Huairen County, Donghai County. In the southwest, Caozhuang and Huaqiao were under the jurisdiction of Tan county, xiapi county.
In the early Tang Dynasty, Langya County of Yizhou and Donghai County of Haizhou were divided. In 621, Linyi County was established as Lanshan County, Linshu county and Changle County. In 623, Linshu county was abolished and merged into Linyi County. In 625, Licheng and Zhuer counties were abolished and merged into Huairen County of Donghai County. In the 29th year of Kaiyuan (741), most of them were under the jurisdiction of Linyi County, Yizhou. In the southwest, Caozhuang was under the jurisdiction of xiapi, Sizhou. In the East, tangling, Jiaolong and Luzhuang were under the jurisdiction of Huairen County, Haizhou.
In Song Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Linyi County, Yizhou. Jinshi was under the jurisdiction of Linyi County, Yizhou.

In the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Yizhou, Jining Prefecture, Shandong Province. In 1372, it belonged to Yizhou, Jinan Prefecture. In 1385, it belonged to Yizhou, Yanzhou Prefecture. In the 10th year of Wanli (1582), most of them belonged to Yizhou, the southwest to Tancheng County, and the East and northeast to Ganyu County, Huai'an Prefecture, Nanjing.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Yizhou Prefecture of Shandong Province and was divided into Tancheng and Lanshan counties.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Jining road and Langya road successively. In 1936, it belonged to the office of the administrative inspector of the third district of Shandong Province. The Fifth District of Linyi County was in the north and the Fifth District of Tancheng county was in the south. After that, the Fifth District of Tancheng county was divided into six and seven districts, which were subordinate to the second office of Tancheng county government. The office was located in the present nangu town.
In January 1940, the Dongjin detachment of the Eighth Route Army and the Longhai Nanjin detachment of the Shandong column liberated nanguzhuang, the second office of the Tancheng county government of the Kuomintang, and established the first office of the Anti Japanese democratic regime in the northeast of Tancheng, directly under the leadership of the Lunan special office. In July, it was renamed cangma office, belonging to the third line office in Lunan.
In August 1941, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Linshu county was established, which was subordinate to the fourth branch of Lunan special office, and later to Binhai special office. Binhai special office is located in chenxunhui village, jindiantou town most of the time.

In 1949, after the founding of the people's Republic of China, Linshu county government was officially stationed in Xiazhuang (today's Linshu Street) by the floating government.
In May 1950, it belonged to Linyi special office.
In March 1956, Linshu county was abolished, and the South was assigned to Tancheng county and the north to Junan county.
In August 1961, Linshu county was restored, with 11 people's communes, 561 production teams and 2863 production teams under the jurisdiction of Caozhuang, nangu, Shimen, Diantou, Daxing, Guantang, Baijiao, Hancun, Xiazhuang, Jiaolong and Zhucang.
In April 1971, the State Council adjusted the division of Shiliang river reservoir area, and assigned 26 villages of Jiaolong and Guantang communes to Donghai and Ganyu counties in Jiangsu Province.
In May 1984, the people's commune of Linshu county was changed into a township, with six towns of Linshu, Shimen, Caozhuang, nangu, Hancun and Jiaolong, and 14 townships of Zhengshan, Baijiao, Dongpan, Zhucang, tangling, Luzhuang, Qianzhuang, Guanzhuang, Zhouzhuang, gulonggang, Qingyun, Huaqiao and vinegar.
In January 2001, Zhucang Township and Dongpan Township were merged into Zhucang Township, Linshu town and Zhouzhuang Town were merged into Linshu Town, Qingyun town and Hancun town were merged into Qingyun town (originally Hancun town), nangu town and vinegar town were merged into nangu Town, Caozhuang town and Huaqiao town were merged into Caozhuang Town, Shimen town and Qianzhuang town were merged into Shimen Town, Diantou town and Guanzhuang town were merged into Diantou town and Daxing town Daxing town was merged with gulonggang township. County jurisdiction Linshu, Jiaolong, Daxing, Shimen, Diantou, Caozhuang, nangu, Zhengshan, Baijiao, Qingyun, Yushan 11 towns and Zhucang Township, a total of 55 neighborhood committees, 498 village committees, 537 villages.
In 2004, the county merged and adjusted the administrative villages at the village and neighborhood level, with a total of 40 neighborhood committees and 260 village committees, with a total of 300 villages and residents, 253 fewer administrative villages than before the merger.
In March 2008, Linshu County adjusted the administrative division of the economic development zone. Ten villages of Linshu Town, Zhengshan town and nangu town were assigned to the county economic development zone. Linshu county has jurisdiction over 11 towns, one township and one economic development zone.
In October 2009, Linshu town and Zhengshan town were abolished and Linshu sub district office and Zhengshan sub district office were established. The county has 2 sub district offices, 9 towns, 1 Township and 1 Economic Development Zone.
In August 2011, Yushan Town and Zhucang Township were merged into Yushan Town (originally located in Zhucang township); nangu town was abolished, and 8 administrative villages to the west of Shuhe River were under the jurisdiction of Linyi Economic Development Zone, 8 administrative villages to the east of Shuhe River were under the jurisdiction of Zhengshan street; 5 administrative villages of Caozhuang town were under the jurisdiction of Linyi Economic Development Zone. Linshu County governs two sub district offices of Linshu and Zhengshan, eight towns of Jiaolong, Shimen, Caozhuang, Qingyun, Daxing, Baiyao, Yushan and Diantou, and an economic development zone, with 49 neighborhood committees and 238 administrative villages.
In July 2012, there were 7 administrative villages in cangma mountain scenic area, including Shanxi village, canglongju village and Shanli village of Linshu street, Yuezhuang village of Yushan Town, Xipan village of Jiaolong Town, caojieqian village and lijieqian village of Qingyun Town, and 19 natural villages were managed by cangma mountain scenic area.
In July 2013, Baijiao town was merged into Qingyun town.
