Longan County Longan County, subordinate to Nanning city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and on both sides of the lower reaches of Youjiang river. In Qin Dynasty (214-206 BC), it belonged to Xiang county. In 622, when Xuanhua county was divided into lanning County, it belonged to Yongzhou. In April of 1533, Longan County was set up under the jurisdiction of Nanning government. In December 1958, Longan County and Wuming county were merged into Wulong county. On May 10, 1959, the organizational system of Long'an county was restored.
In 2017, the GDP of Long'an county was 7.318 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. Among the three industries, the added value of the primary industry was 2.795 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 4.1%; the added value of the secondary industry was 1.977 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 6.9%; the industrial added value was 1.062 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 9.0%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 2.546 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 9.2%. The Qin Dynasty (214-206 BC) belonged to Xiang county.
In the early Han Dynasty (206-220 BC), it was under the jurisdiction of South Vietnam. After Emperor Hanwu pacified Nanyue, it belonged to ZengShi County of Yulin County.
During the Three Kingdoms period (220-265), it belonged to ZengShi County, Yulin County, Wu state.
Jin Dynasty (265-420 years) is Yulin County Zengyi county (ZengShi County renamed).
During the southern and Northern Dynasties (420-589), it belonged to Zengyi County of Jinxing county.
In the Sui Dynasty (589-618), following the northern and Southern Dynasties, Xuanhua county was established in the 18th year of kaihuang (598), which was under the jurisdiction of Yulin County.
Tang Wude five years (622 years), from Xuanhua county set up langning County, for langning, belongs to Yongzhou. During the reign of Qianyuan (758-759), Yongzhou acquired Silong County, which was located in the south of Chengxiang town. In the fifth year of Kaibao of Song Dynasty (972), Silong county was abolished and merged into Ruhe County; in the second year of Jinghua (1035), Ruhe county was merged into Xuanhua County, which belonged to Xuanhua County; in the fourth year of Zhiping (1067), the former langning County of Xuanhua County was assigned to Wuyuan County, which belonged to Xuanhua and Wuyuan County.

In 1529, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, Wang Shouren, requested the establishment of Long'an county. In April of 1533, the 12th year of Jiajing reign, the first, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and twelfth maps of Silong Township in Xuanhua county (the whole territory of Nanwei, Yanjiang, Qiaojian and Gutan and part of Chengxiang, natong and Yangwan townships), the sixth and eighth maps of Xixiang township (part of natong, Xiaolin and Dingdang townships), and the third, fourth and fifth maps of Yongning Township in Wuyuan County( Now Chengxiang, Xiaolin and Dingdang are three towns (part of the territory), and Longan County is set up under the jurisdiction of Nanning government. In 1534, the "Dian Li Department" was established, which was in charge of arrest and prison. In 1535, the city wall was built.

In December 1949, when Long'an was liberated, it belonged to the office of Zuojiang people's administrative Commissioner, and in late December it belonged to Longzhou special district.
In January 1950, it belonged to Wuming district.
On January 25, 1951, with the approval of the Government Affairs Council, Wuming district was abolished, and Long'an county was assigned to Longzhou district; on October 19, the 48th meeting of the provincial government approved that Longzhou district was renamed Chongzuo District, and Long'an county was subordinate to Chongzuo district.
In August 1952, it belongs to Yongning district. In December, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (changed to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Prefecture in March 1956) was established under the jurisdiction of Long'an county.
In January 1958, it belonged to Yongning district. In November, Yongning district was renamed Nanning District (renamed Nanning District in 1970), and Long'an county still belongs to it.
In December 1958, Long'an county and Wuming County merged into Wulong county.

In February 1953, Long'an county was divided into 6 districts and 68 townships. Among them, Lianma and Baowan in the third district and Dingdang, Jian'an, Qiaolian, Guyang, Dinghua and Yingmin in the fourth district are designated, and the Sixth District is added. The District People's government is located in dingdangwei. In April, the 11th (Dujie) division of zhendu county was under the jurisdiction of Longan County, which was named the seventh district. It had 17 townships, including yuanrenjie, Sanle, Aihua, Dengxian, Linli, Tongle, liming, Liuqi, Xinmin, Puquan, Yudong, Xinglong, Jilong, Lulian, Fenli, Rongpeng and Pingyang. The people's Government of the seventh district was located in dujiewei.
On April 21, 1955, the seventh district people's government was renamed the district office. On the 27th, the eighth district was added, with 10 townships including wanlang, Sixing, Xinrun, luanzheng in the first district, Baichao, Longwan, Xi'an in the Second District, and Sanle, Aihua, Xinglong in the seventh district under its jurisdiction. The eighth District Office was located in baichaowei.
On February 10, 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. The county was divided into 24 townships (Nanwei, Chengxiang, cenai, Datong, Zhendong, Yanjiang, natong, Nazhong, Gutan, Xiaolin, minyang, Qiaojian, banluo, Jiujia, Dingdang, Baima, Qiaolian, Dujie, Lulong, Jilong, Tongle, Yangwan, Lianlong, luanzheng). On September 4, 24 townships were merged into 9 townships (Chengxiang, Nanwei, Yanjiang, natong, Xiaolin, Qiaojian, Dingdang, Dujie and Yangwan). In January 1960, there were 15 communes and 11 communes in the county. In June 1961, the 11 communes were divided into 18 communes: Chengxiang, Nanwei, Datong, Baichao, Yanjiang, natong, Nazhong, Xiaolin, minyang, Qiaojian, banluo, Gutan, Dingdang, Baima, Dujie, Tongle, buquan and Pingshan.
