Anju District, subordinate to Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the middle of Sichuan Basin, the middle reaches of Fujiang River, southwest of Suining City, Chuanshan District of Suining City in the East, Daying County of Suining City in the north, Lezhi county of Ziyang City in the west, Anyue County of Ziyang City in the South and Tongnan County of Chongqing City, with a total area of 1258.2 square kilometers.

It belongs to Mesozoic Jurassic rock stratum, which forms Eroded Hilly landform through water erosion, cutting and accumulation, with an altitude of 300-600 meters.
