Renhua county, a county under the jurisdiction of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the south foot of Nanling Mountain range and the north of Guangdong Province. Renhua county has a long history. It was founded more than 1500 years ago in the Qi Dynasty (479-502). Because "Wei Tuo built Renhua city from Wang Nanyue and later became Renhua township. Historical evolution
Renhua county was a place of Baiyue in the spring and Autumn period. During the Warring States period, it belonged to Yangyue.
The Qin Dynasty belonged to Luliang. In the 33rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (214 BC), Renhua county belongs to Nanhai county.
At the end of Qin Dynasty and the beginning of Han Dynasty, Zhao Tuo established Nanyue state under the rule of three counties in Lingnan, and Renhua region was subordinate to it.
In the sixth year of Yuanding reign of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (111 BC), Nanyue returned to Han Dynasty and Renhua became Qujiang County, which belongs to Guiyang County and belongs to Jingzhou.
In the first year of Ganlu (265), Duwei in the south of Guiyang County set up Shixing County to govern Qujiang County, and Renhua area was changed to Qujiang County of Jingzhou Shixing County.

In the first year of Hongwu (1368) of the Ming Dynasty, the road was changed to the government. In April of the second year of Hongwu (1369), Guangdong Road was abolished, and Renhua county was changed to Shaozhou, the capital of Guangdong Province.
The Qing Dynasty was the capital of Shaozhou, Guangdong Province.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Shaozhou Prefecture was abolished, and Renhua county was directly under Guangdong Province.
In 1933, Renhua was attached to the northwest appeasement Committee of Guangdong Province.
From 1936 to 1949, Renhua county belonged to the office of the second district administrative inspector of Guangdong Province.
On October 6, 1949, the whole county was liberated. Renhua county people's government was established immediately, which belongs to Beijiang District of Guangdong Province.
In 1952, Renhua county belonged to the Central South military and political Commission, the northern Guangdong administrative region of Guangdong Province. In 1956, Renhua county belonged to Shaoguan District of Guangdong Province.
On November 7, 1958, Renhua county was incorporated into Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, which is a suburb under the jurisdiction of the city.
