Historical evolution
From Qin Dynasty to Tang and Song Dynasty
Although Shuangqiao was built 37 years ago (1974-2011), it has a long history. Before Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Ba state, Qin to Ba County, and Han to Dianjiang County (now Hechuan District). During the Three Kingdoms, Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties, it was Yizhou, Jingzhou, Dianjiang County, Dangqu county (now Hechuan District) and Shijing county (now Hechuan District). During the Northern Zhou Dynasty, it was Yongkang county (now Anyue) of Pu'an County. In the Sui Dynasty, it was located in Longkang county (now Anyue) of Ziyang County. In the early Tang Dynasty, it was located in Longkang County of Puzhou. In the first year of Qianyuan (758) of emperor suzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Dingzuo asked the imperial court to play a song, saying that "the mountains and rivers are broad and far away. Please cut the boundaries of Lu, PU, Yu, he, Zi and Rong to set up Changzhou" (see Li Jifu's Yuanhe county annals). In the first month of the next year, Li Heng, Emperor suzong of the Tang Dynasty, accepted the request and officially approved the division of Changzhou from Luzhou, Puzhou, Yuzhou, Hezhou, Rongzhou and Zizhou (see Wang Xiangzhi's identification of Yu Di Ji Sheng). At the same time, it was divided into three counties, namely Changyuan, Jingnan and Dazu, and was subordinate to Changzhou (see the geographical records in the old and new Tang Books). Shuangqiao belonged to Jingnan county.
In the sixth year of Dali (771) of the Tang Dynasty, there were endless wars, so it was impossible to rule. The prefectures and counties were abandoned, and their jurisdiction was returned. In the 10th year of Dali (775), Cui Ning, the governor of Xichuan, played an important role in the imperial court of Tang Dynasty, so he restored the original state and county in May. In the following year, xibishan (today's Bishan) and Luzhou were located in Yongchuan County, subordinate to Changzhou. Jingnan county is under the jurisdiction of Jingnan County, Changyuan County, Dazu County and Yongchuan county. In the first year of Tang Jingfu (892), Jingnan county was withdrawn, and its territory was merged into the other three counties. Shuangqiao belonged to Dazu County.
In the Tang and Song Dynasties, Dazu's grassroots administrative areas were all villages. Because of the unknown contents, it is impossible to find out where Shuangqiao belongs. In the Yuan Dynasty, the system of village community was below the county level. At that time, Dazu province merged with Tongliang. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to wenshuili, Dazu County. In 1674, Wu Sangui became emperor, and the state name was Zhou. From the 17th to the 19th year of Kangxi reign, the territory of Shuangqiao was occupied by Wu Sangui. It is said that at the end of the flat cave of yanziyan coal mine in erlangtang, Shuanglu Township, the word "Honghua" is engraved with the date of excavation, which is the year of Wu Shiyu, the grandson of Wu Sangui.
Third line construction period
On February 26, 1965, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the "decision on the three line construction system in Southwest China". In 13 provinces and autonomous regions of central and Western China, a war preparedness oriented construction of national defense, science and technology, industry and transportation facilities was started. At that time, most of China's industry was in the northeast, and the situation in North China was very urgent. According to the strategy of three line construction, the construction of national defense, science and technology, industry and transportation facilities was divided The country is divided into three types: the front-line and middle areas. The first-line areas cover 14 border areas and coastal provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, the second-line areas include Anhui and Jiangxi provinces, and some areas of Hebei, Henan, Hunan and Hubei provinces. The third-line areas include Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Shaanxi provinces and cities, involving 13 provinces and autonomous regions with abnormally large-scale national defense activities The construction of the national security line goes deep into the hinterland, has been in the dense forest, hidden in the mountains, and the action of safeguarding national security is quietly unfolding in the vast territory. The focus of the third line construction is in the southwest. Chongqing, with its strong industrial background and superior geographical location, has become the main battlefield of the third line construction.
On October 1, 1965, pengjiayuanzi, at the foot of Bayue mountain in Shuanglu commune of Dazu County, a military enterprise with the mysterious 101 mailbox as the code name of China's first heavy truck manufacturing plant, officially opened here.
In 1965, with the approval of the first Ministry of machinery industry and the approval of the State Science and Technology Commission, Premier Zhou Enlai personally instructed to establish a heavy truck factory and a heavy truck Research Institute at the same address in Dazu County, Sichuan Province. In June 1965, the central government decided to introduce a heavy-duty vehicle production line from the French belier company and settle down in Dazu Shuanglu commune, 100 kilometers west of Chongqing. It plans to cover an area of 1950 mu, with an annual output of 1100 Hongyan heavy-duty vehicles, mainly equipped with the PLA troops at all levels and the newly established Second Artillery Force. China began to independently develop and manufacture heavy-duty vehicles. In 1965, the plant site was just selected, and the first Ministry of machinery industry required to start construction in the same month, and complete the three connections and one leveling of water, electricity, highway and plant leveling within three months. Hard working builders, in the case of lack of material, rely on almost primitive methods to open mountains and cut roads, fighting for a month time to level out a large flat dam. It has laid a solid foundation for the construction of the plant.
In 1966, just one year old "only child" of the Republic met the "ten years of Cultural Revolution".
During the cultural revolution, there was a lot of fighting in the factory area, resulting in a miasma, low production and slack workers.
In the era of famine and turmoil, the living conditions of the Republic's "only child" 101 factory once again shocked Zhongnanhai.
On December 26, 1973, Li Xiannian, Ye Jianying and other party and state leaders listened to the special report of the heavy truck plant and agreed to establish a special zone around the plant, which will be directly managed by Chongqing. The state appropriates special funds to carry out large-scale transformation of the living facilities and municipal facilities of the heavy duty truck plant, so as to improve the production and living conditions of the workers.
When the report on the establishment of the special economic zone was sent to Vice Premier Li Xiannian's office, he thought about it and then approved it immediately.
In February 1974, Sichuan Provincial Revolutionary Committee submitted to the State Council the request for instructions on the establishment of Dazu automobile factory administrative region directly under the central government of Chongqing Municipality. It suggested that the six production teams of Qingchun, Tianxing, Baihe, Tianqiao and Tuqiao communes of Shuanglu commune and Yuantong commune in Dazu County, with a total area of 43km2, should be assigned to the new administrative region directly under the central government of Chongqing Municipality. The establishment and name of Shuanglu commune remain unchanged. The other six brigades were set up as Tongqiao commune (named after Yuantong commune and Tuqiao commune respectively), and Shuangqiao commune and Shuanglu commune were named after Shuangqiao commune. On October 22, 1974, the State Council issued the "Reply of the State Council on the establishment of Dazu automobile factory administrative region" (GF [1974] No. 100 document), which approved the division of Shuanglu and Tongqiao commune from Dazu County into Shuangqiao District of Chongqing, subordinate to Chongqing Municipality and prefecture level of Sichuan Province. Shuanglu Street (now longtanzi Street) is the resident of Chongqing Shuangqiao District People's government, and the construction of the government building was completed The government is located at 46 Shuanglong West Road, Shuanglu town. After Chongqing was established as a municipality directly under the central government in 1997, it was still subordinate to Chongqing. The district is a deputy department level administrative region of Chongqing.
