Changge Changge City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Xuchang City, Henan Province. It is adjacent to the urban area of Xuchang -- Jian'an District in the south, Zhengzhou airport port in the north and Xinzheng International Airport in the East. Historical evolution
Changge, the place name, was first seen in the spring and autumn Zuoshi biography: "the fifth year of Duke Lu Yin, the Song Dynasty Zhengwei Changge", the fifth year of Duke Lu Yin, that is, 718 BC. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, it was recorded in Changge county annals that Changge was the former site of Ge Tian's family; later generations thought of yongqize, so it was called Changge (see the old annals). During the Warring States period, "the trees in the society grew violently and changed their name to changshe.".
In the spring and Autumn period, Changge was the city of Zheng State, and the Song Dynasty attacked Zhengwei Changge, which led to the "battle of Changge". After that, Zhou and Zheng fought against each other and fought against Changge, which was called "battle of Zhuge" in history, and Changge was also called "battle of Zhuge".
During the Warring States period, the state of Zheng was destroyed by Han AI Hou. Changge belonged to Han (the first year of King zhoulie, 375 BC), and later Wei took it. Changge returned to Wei and was renamed changshe.
After the unification of China by the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, the system of prefectures and counties was carried out throughout the country. The Han Dynasty inherited the system of Qin Dynasty, and the changshe still belonged to Yingchuan county. In the new dynasty of Wang Mang, Yingchuan county was changed to the left team, and changshe belonged to the left team. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, changshe belonged to Yingchuan county. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a three-level system of counties and counties in Xingzhou, and changshe was still in Yingchuan county (Yuzhou). In the southern and Northern Dynasties, in 423, Liu Song was at war with the Northern Wei Dynasty. Changshe was occupied by the Northern Wei Dynasty. Xu Changcheng was destroyed and Yingchuan County moved to changshe (now the old city of Changge City). Changshe belonged to Yingchuan county. After the division of the Northern Wei Dynasty, it belonged to the Eastern Wei Dynasty. In the early days of Tianping (534), Emperor Xiaojing of Wei Dynasty set up Yingzhou (governing changshe city). Changshe belonged to Yingzhou, which was later captured by the Western Wei Dynasty. After the battle of changshe, the Eastern Wei Dynasty recovered Yingchuan, and changshe belonged to the Eastern Wei Dynasty. In the seventh year of Wuding (549), the government was transferred to Yingyin city (now Xuchang City). Yingzhou was changed to Zhengzhou, and changshe belonged to Yingchuan County of Zhengzhou. The Zhongwu army of Xuzhou in the Tang Dynasty was changed into the Kuang army of Xuzhou in the Later Liang Dynasty, and Changge belonged to it. In the later Tang Dynasty, Xuzhou Kuang army was replaced by Xuzhou Zhongwu army, which resulted in the later Jin Dynasty, the later Han Dynasty and the Later Zhou Dynasty.
In the Song Dynasty, Changge belonged to Xuzhou in Jingxi road first, and then to Yingchang Prefecture in the fifth year of Xining (1072). It was divided into Jingxi road and Jingxi South Road. Changge belonged to Xuzhou in Jingxi road. In the third year of Yuanfeng (1080), Changge was promoted to Yingchang Prefecture, and Changge belonged to Yingchang Prefecture. (after the death of the Northern Song Dynasty) in the first year of Jin Zhenyuan (1153), Yingchang Prefecture was changed to Xuzhou Changwu army, and Changge belonged to Xuzhou Changwu army.
During the yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Changge belonged to Xuzhou, Bianliang Road, Jiangbei Province, Henan Province; Xuzhou, Kaifeng Prefecture, Henan Province; and Zhili Prefecture, Chenxu, Zhengdao, Xuzhou, Henan Province.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the government abolished the road, and Changge belonged to Chen Xuzheng road. On March 1, Chen Xuzheng road was renamed Yudong Road, and the next year it was renamed Kaifeng Road.
In 1927, Tao was abolished and Changge was the second administrative region of central district.
In 1932, an administrative supervision district was set up in Henan Province.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Changge belonged to Xuchang special zone.
In 1969, Changge was changed into a special district, which belongs to Xuchang district.
In February 1986, Xuchang district was abolished, and Xuchang city was promoted to a provincial city under the jurisdiction of Changge.

The river in the city is 3.6 km long, with a drainage area of 31.3 square kilometers. It is a seasonal river.
Meihe River: it originates from Longwang Town of Xinzheng City, enters changgejing in the northwest of Laozhuang town of Dazhou Town, and enters Shuanghe River in the northeast of Dagu Temple of Dazhou town. The river is 7.9 km long, with a drainage area of 16.4 square kilometers.
Wenhe River: it originates from the south of lihekou in Dongcun Town, flows through Guqiao, Nanxi and the northeast of Fangyu village, and enters Yanling County. The river in the city is 24.5 km long, with a drainage area of 154.0 square kilometers. It is a seasonal river and now connects with the East Main Canal of lihekou sluice.
