Historical evolution
In the early Western Han Dynasty, Lechang county was established in Yanzhou in the Xia Dynasty. It belongs to the East County. It is located 17.5 kilometers northwest of the present Nanle County, on the north side of Cangjie mausoleum. Because there was Changyi City in the county in ancient times, it is said that it was built by Changyi, the son of the Yellow Emperor. "Music" means fertile land and vast paradise.
During the Three Kingdoms period, it belonged to Wei county and Yangping county.
Changle County was set up in the Western Jin Dynasty, and the county government was the same as Lechang. The reason why the word "Lechang" is reversed may be that "Chang" after "Yue" has something to do with the disrespect of the ancient sage "Changyi". Both the old annals and the new Annals of Nanle state that this county should be abandoned. The reason why the time of abolishing Changle County in Jin Dynasty and why it was abandoned in a hurry is ominous.
In 497, Changle County was restored to Wei county. In the first year of Yong'an (528), Changle County was set up.
In 581, Changle County was abolished and changed to Wei county. In the first year of Daye (605), Changle County was abandoned to Fanshui county.
In 622, Changle County was set up again. In 623, Changle County government moved from the north of Wucun (north of Cangjie Mausoleum) to the southeast of Gucun (10 km northwest of Nanle county). Emperor Taizong Zhenguan eighteen years (644), Fanshui County into Changle County.
In 916, the second year of Liang Zhenming in the Five Dynasties, Li Cunxu, the king of Jin Dynasty, avoided his grandfather Li Guochang's taboo and ruled the South with the new rule in the old one, so he changed his name to Nanle. It is said that there is the name of Nanle in the epitaphs unearthed in the late Tang Dynasty, and when the name of Nanle began still needs to be further explored. In the late Tang Dynasty, Nanle belonged to the Xingtang Prefecture of Hebei Province. Later Jin Dynasty changed Xingtang Prefecture into Guangjin Prefecture, and Nanle county was subordinate to it.
In the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, it belonged to Daming mansion on Hebei East Road. In September of the fourth year of Yuanfeng (1081), Emperor Shenzong of Song Dynasty, Nanle county was ordered to move eastward to the present city, that is, the present Nanle county. In 1105, the fourth year of Chongning of Huizong of Song Dynasty, it was transferred to Kaide Prefecture.

The Yuan Dynasty belongs to Daming Road, Zhongshu province.
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Daming Prefecture of Zhongshu Province, and later it belonged to Daming Prefecture of buzhengsi in Beiping.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Daming Prefecture of Shengjing, and later to the Daming Prefecture of Zhili.
In 1913, it belonged to damingdao, Zhili; in 1928, it belonged to the fourteenth administrative supervision district of Hebei Province; in 1941, it belonged to the first special office of Hebei Shandong Henan border region. In the same year, Weihe county was set up in the border region of Hebei, Shandong and Henan, and the South (LE) DA (Ming) highway was divided into the West. In 1946, Weihe county was withdrawn, and its land still belongs to Nanle.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Nanle county belongs to Puyang District of Pingyuan province. In 1952, Pingyuan province was abolished and Nanle county was incorporated into Henan Province. In 1954, Anyang and Puyang were merged into Anyang. In 1958, Xinxiang district and Anyang District merged into Xinxiang district. In 1960, Xinxiang and Anyang were divided into Anyang special district.
