details
geological structure
The geology of Cangshan area is mainly composed of Mesozoic lava, Yanshanian intrusive rock and Quaternary sediments. It is affected by the structural changes of faults and folds. In the structural characteristics, the strata form wide and gentle uplifts and depressions. The fold structure is not obvious because it is destroyed by the later magmatic intrusion and eruption. The fault structure is very developed, mainly because it is located in the front arc of Fuzhou mountain shaped structure and the intersection of NNW tension torsion fault and nee compression torsion fault. Controlled by the above fault structure, the fault is developed and the dynamic metamorphism is strong. Fuzhou mountain shaped structure passes through the southern part of the territory and is distributed in an arc along the wulongjiang River, controlling the river form of Nangang of Minjiang River and causing dynamic metamorphic belt of rock strata in the southern part of the territory.
topographic features
Cangshan District is surrounded by Minjiang River, forming Nantai Island. Minjiang River in Nantai Island, the end of the split and together, oblique through the middle. The landform is composed of plain, hill and beach, and mainly consists of hill and plain, belonging to hilly plain. Hills and slopes account for 1 / 5 of the island area. The terrain is steep in the north, medium high and gentle in the south. The land surface fluctuates greatly. The hills are distributed in the middle, northwest and Southeast. From north to south, there are wengzhu mountain, Guidong mountain, Miaofeng Mountain, Gaogai mountain, Chengmen mountain and Qingliang mountain. Gaogai mountain (202 meters above sea level) is located in the middle of Nantai Island. Due to the change of the velocity and direction of the Minjiang River, the sediment deposition and accumulation are caused. Along the river, the sandbars are developed and the beach is wide, forming sandbars with different shapes and sizes.
Climatic characteristics
Cangshan District has a subtropical marine monsoon climate, warm and humid, short winter without severe cold, long summer without intense heat. The annual total solar radiation is 4379.4 MJ / m2, which is greater in summer than in winter. After the vernal equinox every year, with the increase of solar height angle and sunshine time, the solar radiation increases gradually, and reaches the highest value from July to August. After that, the solar radiation began to decrease and reached the lowest value in December. The average annual sunshine hours is 4425.9 hours, the average annual actual sunshine hours is 1884.2 hours, and the sunshine percentage is 42%.
The average annual precipitation in Cangshan District is 1395.6 mm. The seasonal variation of precipitation is obvious, mainly concentrated in the summer half year (April September), the precipitation in six months is 1026.6 mm, accounting for 73.6% of the annual precipitation, while the precipitation in winter half year (October to next March) is 369 mm, accounting for 26.4% of the annual precipitation. The annual average rainfall days is 142.3 days, and the annual average relative humidity is 79%.
Affected by the landform of Minjiang River Valley, the dominant wind direction in Cangshan District is southeast wind. In summer, the frequency of southeast wind and south wind is 16.6% and 14.5% respectively, and the frequency of static wind is 26.9%; in winter, the frequency of southeast wind and west wind is 11.5% and 10.4%, and the frequency of static wind is 23.1%. The annual average wind speed is 2.9 M / s, and the maximum wind speed can reach 31.7 M / s.
The monsoon climate in Cangshan District is obvious, and the cold and warm air flow changes with seasons in a year. The general year is from the end of February to the middle of April, when the spring wind blows warm and the southwest airflow begins to invade the territory. There is often continuous drizzle, which is the spring rain season. At this time, the weather is changeable, there is "spring child face, there are three changes in a day.". At the end of the middle of April, the spring rain ends, the rainy days decrease, and the sunny weather can appear for a period of time. In the middle of May, the rainy days increased again. Because the South and north cold and warm air currents often collided over the territory, the front sometimes moved south and sometimes pushed north, resulting in rainy weather. Because the air is humid, the goods are easy to mildew, also known as the rainy season, which can generally last 40 days. During this period, heavy rain often occurred, and the Minjiang River also entered the flood season. The water level rose, causing floods along the river.
After the Meiyu in Cangshan District (generally from late June), the weather is sunny and hot. In the case of favorable humidity, convective clouds develop. In the afternoon, there are many thunderstorms, that is, "pear feeding rain", which occurs for three consecutive days, and each rain time is one or two hours later than the previous day. Generally, the duration of thunderstorm is short and the rainfall intensity is high. In some years, the Pacific subtropical high extends westward and is controlled by the subtropical high, and the downdraft is dominant, so the weather is sunny and hot, and it is easy to cause summer drought. June to September is the prevailing season of typhoon, which often affects and attacks the territory. When the typhoon attacks positively, it will bring severe weather, such as storm and wind, and often pull up trees and destroy houses, which will lead to disaster; when the typhoon attacks negatively, it will bring abundant precipitation, which can alleviate summer drought and autumn drought to a certain extent.
