Xinxiang high tech Industrial Development Zone Xinxiang high tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the southeast of Xinxiang City, 4 kilometers away from the center of the city. In March 1994, it was approved as a provincial Development Zone by the provincial government, with a planning area of 18 square kilometers. In July 2006, through the expansion plan, the planning area is 53 square kilometers. In September 2012, the State Council approved the upgrading to the national high tech Industrial Development Zone. Founded in 1992, Xinxiang high tech Zone is one of the first industrial clusters determined by the provincial government for development. It has cultivated and expanded the domestic well-known Hualan biological, Xinfei electrical appliances, Cologne electrical appliances, Wahaha fruit tea beverage, Tianfeng steel structure, Xinneng electric vehicles and other enterprises, and has attracted more than 800 enterprises of all kinds, including 48 Enterprises above the quota. By 1997, the average growth rate of all major economic indicators in Xinxiang high tech Zone was more than 30%. In September 2012, Xinxiang high tech Zone was officially approved by the State Council and upgraded to the national high tech Industrial Development Zone, which is the fifth national high tech Industrial Development Zone approved by the State Council.

Xinxiang City is located in the north of Henan Province, with Taihang in the north, 600 kilometers away from the capital Beijing, and the Yellow River in the south, 80 kilometers away from the provincial capital Zhengzhou. The annual average temperature is 14C, and the annual average precipitation is 606.7mm. The precipitation is unevenly distributed, and the interannual variation is large. The precipitation in July, August and September of the flood season accounts for about 70% of the total annual precipitation. The wind direction is dominated by northeast wind, and the annual average wind speed is 2.5m/s.

The site is located in the alluvial plain of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River. The ground is relatively flat. The buried depth of the groundwater level is 0.4-1 M. the site belongs to medium soft soil. The elevation of the water level is 71.5-72.1 m. It belongs to the type of pore phreatic water. The dynamic changes are controlled by seasons. The recharge and discharge conditions are mainly atmospheric precipitation, irrigation, mining and evaporation. The shallow groundwater is weak alkaline hard water, and it is not corrosive to concrete.

The water quality of shallow layer is low, the groundwater level is shallow, and the buried depth is 0.4-1.0 m, which belongs to weak alkaline hard water.

The railway and highway are convenient in Xinxiang City. Beijing Guangzhou railway and Taiyuan Shijiazhuang railway meet here, and 66 passenger trains stop at Xinxiang every day, from Xinxiang to the capitals of 18 provinces; national roads 106 and 107 pass through the border, connecting 12 provincial roads, 45 county roads and 170 township roads. The high tech Zone is connected with national highway 107 in the East, Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, Beijing International Airport 600 km north and Zhengzhou International Airport 100 km south. Xinxiang is rich in water resources, with a comprehensive water supply capacity of 220000 cubic meters per day. The total installed capacity of power supply in Xinxiang City is 680000 kW, which provides sufficient power for the development of the development zone. Duancun substation with installed capacity of 3x31500 KVA is set in the area.
