Linxi County Linxi County is a county under the jurisdiction of Xingtai City in Hebei Province. It is located in the southeast of Hebei Province and the east of Xingtai City. Beijing Jiulong Railway, Xinglin Expressway and Xinglin highway run through the county. It is the east gate of Xingtai City and the bridgehead connecting Hebei and Shandong. With an administrative area of 542 square kilometers, it governs 6 towns, 3 townships, 6 communities and 299 administrative villages, with a permanent resident population of 352900 (2016). The county people's government is located in Zhujiang Road, Linxi town.
In the Han Dynasty, Qingyuan County was set up. Linqing county was renamed in the Northern Wei Dynasty. After the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, the county government moved to Shuidong (now Linqing), which became the Hexi part of Linqing county. In 1964, Linqing county was divided into five districts to the west of Wei canal. In the history of Linxi County, there emerged such celebrities as Wang Yanchao, a famous general of the Northern Song Dynasty, Xie Zhen, a writer of the Ming Dynasty, and LV Yulan, a national model worker. There are Beijing Hangzhou canal, Linqing ancient city ruins, yuewa temple and other places of interest, Tangu, Luantan, hollow noodles and other cultural heritage.
Linxi County mainly produces wheat, corn and other crops, forming a cotton spinning, building materials, machinery and other industrial system, bearing is its characteristic pillar industry. In 2016, Linxi County achieved a GDP of 7.496 billion yuan and a public budget revenue of 349 million yuan.

In Xia Dynasty, Linxi County belongs to Yanzhou.
At the end of the Shang Dynasty, the region belonged to the hinterland of Zhouji.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was the place of Nie Bei in Xing state. Xing Mie belonged to Wei, and returned to Zhao in the Warring States period.
In the 25th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (222 BC), the region belongs to Julu County (Xingtai Pingxiang).
In the early Western Han Dynasty, Qingyuan County was set up to govern Qingyang, belonging to Julu County. Gaozu 12 years (195 BC), changed to Wei Jun.
From the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty to Yuanfeng (86bc-75bc), Emperor Zhao of the Han Dynasty granted taichangjiangde the title of Marquis of Yuyang (state), ruling in the area of lvzhai Township, Linxi County.

In the Western Jin Dynasty, in the middle of Xianning (275-279), Qingyuan County was renamed as Qingquan County, belonging to Yangping county.
Later, in the first year of Zhao Jianping (330), Qingquan county was changed to Linqing county (the name of Linqing began here), and it was moved to Cangji town of Linxi County.
In Qianyan, Linqing county was changed into Jianxing county. The former Qin Dynasty, the later Yan Dynasty and the Wei Dynasty are still the same.
During the Northern Wei Dynasty, Linqing county was moved to the East Shili of the former site of Yuyang city (now in the area of dongyuewa temple, Cangji Town, Linxi County), belonging to Qinghe County of Xiangzhou.
In the 21th year of Taihe (497), Linqing county was restored to Qingyuan County, and Qingshui (now Qingshui town of Guanxian county) was moved, which was subordinate to Yangping County of Xiangzhou,
During the Northern Qi Dynasty, Linqing and Qingyuan counties were merged and renamed Qingquan County, which governed Qingshui (now Qingshui town in Guanxian county), belonging to Yangping County of Sizhou.
In 586, Linqing county was restored to Linqing county and Qingyuan County. Linqing county still governs Cangji town of Linxi County, belonging to Qinghe County of Jizhou.
In the 16th year of kaihuang (596), Linqing county was set up as shansha county. In the second year of Daye (606), shansha County of Shanxi Province entered Linqing county.
In 609, the first year of Wude in Tang Dynasty, Qingyuan County was merged into Linqing county to avoid Li yuantaboo, the emperor of Tang Dynasty, and Cangji town in Linxi County was still ruled.
In the fourth year of Wude (612) of Tang Dynasty, Linqing county was restored to shansha County, and in the first year of Zhenguan (627), shansha County entered Linqing county.
In 772, the southern border of Linqing county was divided into Yongji County and zhangqiaodian of Linxi County. It belonged to Qinghe County of beizhou and was abolished at the end of Tang Dynasty.
In the Later Liang Dynasty, the later Han Dynasty and the Later Zhou Dynasty, Linqing was subordinate to Daming Prefecture. Later Tang Dynasty belongs to Xingtang Prefecture and later Guangjin Prefecture.
The first year of Jianlong in the Northern Song Dynasty (960) belongs to Daming Prefecture. Xining five years (1072), into the town of Zongcheng County, spin re established, still under the Daming Prefecture.

In the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1368), Linqing County belonged to Dongchang mansion of Shandong Province.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Linqing Prefecture was reduced to a county, belonging to Jixi Road, Shandong Province. In 1914, it was transferred to Donglin road. In the 15th year of the Republic of China (1926), he was even attached to delindao. In 1930, Zhili was established in Shandong Province. In 1936, the fourth special office was stationed in Linqing.
In 1937, the Japanese attacked Linqing City.
In 1938, the CPC established the Linqing County War Committee in the northwest of Linqing county (now Linwei county). The following year, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Linqing county was established in the west of Linqing county (now Linxi County), under the leadership of the Northwest Shandong administrative committee.
In 1939, the puppet Linqing County Office was established.
In 1942, the Communist Party of China designated Linqing County, Qizhi county and Qinghe County as three adjacent areas to establish Hongyi County, which belongs to the Southern Hebei Office of Hebei Shandong Henan Administrative office. At the same time, guoguoyuan and weiseng village in Guantao County are divided into eight districts in Linqing county.
On August 31, 1945, Linqing was liberated, the Kuomintang regime was overthrown, and the CPC revolutionary regime moved to Linqing county.
In October 1945, Linqing returned to the old clan in 16 villages of Weixian County, guoguoyuan and weiseng village of Guantao County. In the following year, Linqing county and city were juxtaposed and stationed in Linqing City, belonging to a special office of Southern Hebei District. At the beginning of 1948, it was transferred to a special department of Southern Hebei administrative department. On September 26 of the same year, it was attached to the first special office of the South Hebei administrative office of the North China People's government. At the same time, the city was upgraded to the special level. In March 1949, the city was reduced to the county level. August 10, renamed Linqing special office. Before long, Linqing county and town were set up together, which belonged to Handan special office of Hebei Province.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it still adopted its original name. On November 32, 1952, Hebei Province was assigned to Dezhou special administration of Shandong Province. On December 19 of the same year, it was transferred to Liaocheng district. In 1954, Linqing town was renamed city. In 1950, Qingping county was abolished and its three, four and five districts were merged into Linqing county. In 1958, Linqing county was incorporated into the city. In 1963, it was called county.
In December 1964, five districts to the west of Wei canal in Linqing county were analyzed. Linxi Working Committee was set up and stationed in Hexi, which was under the jurisdiction of Xingtai special district of Hebei Province.
On March 27, 1965, Linxi County was established, and the county seat was located in Chengguan town of Linxi County (now Hexi Town of Linxi County is the Hexi part of Linqing county).
In 1970, Xingtai district changed its name to District, following Linxi County. In the same year, the county moved to tongcun (now Linxi town).
In 1993, Xingtai City and other regions merged into Xingtai City, and Linxi County still belongs to it.

In Song Dynasty, Linqing County governed six townships.
From Yuan Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, there were four townships, Huitong, Jingli, Zhangxin and Mingde.
In the early period of the Republic of China, Linqing county was divided into 10 districts: urban area, Huitong, official business, health, Youzhu, Zhangxin, Shangde, Jingli, Zhonghe and Qingjiang.
In 1930, the name of the first to the tenth districts was changed. With the Wei canal as the boundary, there are one to four districts in the East, five to nine districts in the west, and ten districts in Weixian county. The five to nine districts are the same as the present Linxi County, which laid the foundation for the later division of Linxi County.
On February 3, 1939, the Japanese army occupied Linqing City for the third time. The Anti Japanese democratic regime in Linqing County divided the area to the west of the Wei canal (now Linxi County) into five areas. In July 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Linqing County adjusted the above five districts to eight.
In October 1942, the original five, six and eight districts of Linqing county were assigned to Hongyi County, and new eight districts were added on the basis of the remaining seven, nine, ten, eleven and twelve districts.
On November 2, 1945, according to the decision of Southern Hebei administrative office, Hongyi county was abolished, and all the counties under its jurisdiction belonged to the original one. In that year, Linqing county was divided into nine districts, including six districts in the west of Weiyun River: five districts (big twelve Li), six districts (lvzhai), seven districts (Wangduo Temple), eight districts (Xiabao Temple), nine districts (Cangshang) and ten districts (Taizhuang).
In March 1946, Weidong County, located in the Wei canal, was abolished and the original Linqing county was restored, with nine districts under its jurisdiction.
In June 1950, Linqing county was rebuilt into five districts, and now Linxi County has three districts in its territory, with a total of 43 townships under its jurisdiction. In October 1953, the Sixth District (lvzhai) was added to the territory, which governs 13 townships.
In October 1955, the name of the district was changed from the original number. The three, four, five and six districts in the territory are renamed Laoguanzhai, xiabaosi, Jianzhong and lvzhai in turn.
In March 1958, 122 small townships under the jurisdiction of the district were merged into 25 townships, of which 11 townships were set up in the region; on September 6 of the same year, townships were withdrawn to establish communes, and there were 6 communes in the region. In January of the next year, the original name of the people's commune was cancelled and the name of the residence was changed.
