Langxi County, belonging to Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, was called Jianping in ancient times. It was built in the first year of Duangong in the Northern Song Dynasty (988). History of construction
According to the discovered ancient cultural sites and cultural relics, in the Neolithic age, there were already clans of ancestors living here, reproducing, living a life of slash and burn farming, fishing, hunting and animal husbandry. Later, due to the migration of tribes, this place became the settlement of Aborigines and Shanyue people; after the flood control by Xiayu, it was divided into nine states, now Langxi belongs to Yangzhou; Shang belongs to Gouwu. In the spring and Autumn period, the 40th year of King Jing of Zhou (480 BC) belonged to the TONGDI of Wu state; in the Warring States period, the 3rd year of King yuan of Zhou (473 BC) more destroyed Wu and belonged to Yue State. In the 35th year of King Xian of Zhou Dynasty (334 BC), Chu became more and more dominant and was destroyed by Chu.
In the 26th year of the reign of the king of Qin (221 BC), Qin destroyed six countries and divided the whole country into 36 counties. The ancient Wuyue area was divided into Zhang county and Kuaiji County, and Langxi belonged to Zhang county. In the second year of Yuanfeng (109 BC), Zhang county was changed into Danyang County, and the county government was moved to Wanling (now Xuanzhou), and the former Zhang county was set up in the surrounding area. Langxi belongs to Guzhang County. In the eighth year of Jian'an (203), Guangde County was established in the west of Zhangxian County, and Langxi County was Guangde County.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Jiangnan belonged to Wu state, and Guangde County belonged to Danyang county. In the second year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty (281), it was changed to Xuancheng county. During the northern and Southern Dynasties, it was a dependency of song, Qi, Liang and Chen. In 422, sui'an county was established in Guangde, Guzhang, Changxing, Yangxian and Yixiang. In 468, it was transferred to Yixing County of Southern Xuzhou. Soon after the abolition, Guangde County was restored and still belonged to Xuancheng county. In the Southern Qi Dynasty, Guangde County belonged to Xuancheng County of Southern Yuzhou. In the first year of Liang shaotai (555), Guangde County was subordinate to Guangliang County of Southern Henan. In 558, Guangliang county was changed into Chenliu county.
In 589, Chenliu county was abolished, and Guangde, Guzhang, Anji and Yuanxiang counties were transferred to Shifeng County, which was changed into Suian county. Renshou three years (603 years) into Huzhou. In the second year of Daye (606), it was changed to Xuancheng County; in the third year of Wude (620), it was divided into Suian County, Tongchen county and Huaide County, belonging to Taozhou. In the second year of Zhide (757), sui'an county was changed to Guangde County, which belonged to Xuancheng county and later to Xuanzhou. In the Southern Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties, Guangde Zhi Shi was set up, which belonged to Jiangning Prefecture.
In 979, the Guangde army was set up. Duangong first year (988), renamed Jianping County. In 1277, Guangde army was changed to Guangde Road, which led Jianping County and belonged to the province of letters in Zhejiang Province. In 1356, Zhu Yuanzhang occupied the area and changed Guangde road into Guangxing Prefecture, which led Jianping County and belonged to the province of letters in the south of the Yangtze River.
In the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1368), Guangxing Prefecture belonged to the capital Zhili, which was renamed Guangde Prefecture. Jianping County belonged to Guangde Prefecture. In the sixth year of Kangxi (1667) of the Qing Dynasty, Jianping County was transferred to the administrative department of Anhui Province. In 1914, Jianping County was renamed Langxi County. In 1922, jiyuanbao was set up, which belongs to Chengxiang District. In 1939, it was set up in the town, belonging to the first district. In 1940, it was directly under the county government. On December 10, 1942, it was renamed langbu town. On November 8, 1945, it was renamed Jiyuan town.
In April 1949, Langxi County was liberated. In February 1952, Southern Anhui and Northern Anhui were merged to be called Southern Anhui and Northern Anhui. In August, the southern and northern districts of Anhui Province were abolished and Anhui Province was established. Langxi is a special district of Wuhu. In March 1971, the special area was renamed area, Langxi belongs to Wuhu area, in February 1980, Wuhu area was changed to Xuancheng area, and Langxi County belongs to Xuancheng area.
