Generally, it had to go through the following procedures: proposing marriage, also known as "proposing matchmaker"; engagement, also known as "signing a letter"; marriage, also known as "getting married". On the day of the wedding, the man prepared a sedan chair, new clothes and gifts, which were sent to the woman's home by the matchmaker and the welcoming team. The bride gets up early to "cry for marriage" and eat "family separation meal", then carries her family members to the sedan chair, carries her dowry forward, and the sedan chair follows. Around to the man's house, the bride is supported by a person. She goes up from the red cloth bag to the hall, and then goes to the bridal chamber to drink wine and make trouble in the new chamber. In order to set off the festive atmosphere, there is a custom of "praise and joy sentence". One person sings to celebrate, and many people are kind. Guests can also play and amuse the newlyweds moderately, which means that "there is no big or small wedding day". After getting married, there are still many things to do, such as going back to the door and meeting relatives.
