Fengqing County, belonging to Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province and the northwest of Lincang City. It is connected with Weishan County and Nanjian County of Dali Prefecture in the East, Yun County in the south, Yongde County in the West and Changning County of Baoshan City in the north, with a total area of 3335 square kilometers.
Fengqing County, also known as Pumen, is the hometown of Dianhong in the world. It has a long history of tea planting and tea making. Jinxiu tea king, a 3200 year old ancient tea tree cultivated in xiangzhuqing, has a tea garden of 300000 mu. As a national gift, Yunnan black tea was given to the queen of England, the president and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and other foreign political figures. It is one of the top ten tea producing counties in China.
In 2018, Fengqing County governs 8 towns and 5 townships. Fengqing County is located in the southwest of Yunnan Province, in the north of Lincang City, on both sides of Lancang River. It borders Nanjian and Yunxian in the East, Yunxian and Yongde in the south, Changning in the west, and Changning and Weishan in the north. To the north of Lancang River is Yunling mountain system, and to the south is Nushan mountain system. The highest point in the territory is the Phyllostachys pubescens Forest in Daxueshan, with an altitude of 3098.7 meters, and the lowest point is the exit of Mengtong River, with an altitude of 919 meters and a relative elevation difference of 2198 meters. According to its genesis, the landforms of Fengqing County can be divided into three types: tectonic erosion landforms, tectonic denudation landforms and erosion accumulation landforms. The rivers in Fengqing County belong to Lancang River and Nujiang River. The area of Lancang River Basin accounts for 57% of the total area of the county, and Nujiang River Basin accounts for 43%. Lancang River enters from the northwest, leaves from the southeast, passes through the north of the county, with a transit length of 59.4 km. In addition to Lancang River and Heihui River, there are 168 rivers over 5 km in length, including 152 in Lancang River Basin and 16 in Nujiang River Basin. Lancang River
It originated in the eastern part of Tanggula, Qinghai Province, and entered from pingcun, Changning. It passed through five townships (towns) in Fengqing County, including Dashi, Lushi, Xiaowan, Xinhua and Yaojie, and then left for Yunxian. Fengqing County is 59.4 kilometers long, with a runoff area of 1919.9 square kilometers and 16 primary tributaries.
Heihuijiang
It is a first-class tributary of Lancang River. It originates from Luofeng mountain in Lijiang County, with a total length of 349 km. It enters Yangbi from Xi'er River, and flows through Shili new street in Fengqing County. It flows through three townships (towns) of Shili, Lushi and Xinhua, and then leaves Baila for Lancang river. The river is 65.2 km long, with a runoff area of 716.8 square kilometers and a riverbed gradient of 0.33%. There are 26 tributaries along both sides of the river.
Yingchun River
It is a secondary tributary of Lancang River. It originates from daweilong, Fengshan. The river flows from east to west through Fengshan, Luodang and Daxing. The total length of the river is 44 km, the territory is 36 km, and the runoff area is 463 square kilometers. There are 35 small tributaries along both sides of the river.
Shundian River
It is a first-class tributary of Lancang River. It originates from dongweng mountain in Changning County, enters xiqian and leaves through Mengyou, Sancha River and Xueshan mountain to Xinmin mountain. The length of the river in Fengqing County is 54.4 km, and the runoff area is 683.5 km2.
Yalang River
It is a first-class tributary of Shundian river. It originates from Yongde County, enters at the foot of banggui mountain, and flows into Shundian river through guodazhai to Liangcha river. The river is 20.6 km long with a rainfall collection area of 227.2 square kilometers.
Mangwa River
It is a secondary tributary of the Nujiang River Basin, originated in Changning County, from damengtong to the foot of Mangbang mountain to the foot of santashan mountain to Yongde County. It is the boundary river of Changning and Fengqing, with a river length of 26.0 km and a rainfall collection area of 367 square kilometers.
Nannuo River
It belongs to three tributaries of Nujiang River Basin. Daganlongtang, which originates from Songlin village, guodazhai Township, flows into Mengtong river through jingli'an, Anping and Gantang to the foot of Mangbang mountain. The river is 26 kilometers long and has a runoff area of 121 square kilometers.
Old Street River
It belongs to three tributaries of Nujiang River Basin. It originates from shuanma'ao of Mengtong and flows into mangwa River (Mengtong River) at huluju. The river is 17 km long and the runoff area is 60.91 square kilometers.
