Pidu District Pidu District, subordinate to Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northwest of Chengdu City. History of construction
Pidu district was called "Pi" in ancient times. According to ancient legends, it was first known as the capital of ancient Shu. Two thousand and seven hundred years ago, Du Yu, king of Shu, and bieling took Pi as their capital.
Two years after Qin destroyed Bashu, that is, in 314 B.C., the 11th year of the Yuan Dynasty after King Huiwen of Qin, Qin implemented the system of enfeoffment and county system at the same time. This is the beginning of the establishment of Pixian. In yitongzhi of the Qing Dynasty and Tongzhi of Sichuan of Jiaqing, it is said that Du Yu was named Pubei, because it was here that he was named as a city. Qin destroyed Shu, but the county name did not change. " In the 12th year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 36), Zang Gong attacked Xinfan and Pixian from Fucheng, and met with Wu Han in Chengdu.
During the Qin and Han Dynasties, the jurisdiction of Pixian County involved several counties such as Pixian County, Wenjiang County, Pengxian county and Guanxian county. In the Han Dynasty, the western border of Pixian was outside canya of today's Guanxian County, including the area to the north east of Minjiang River in today's Guanxian county. The northern part of Pengxian county includes the area from beijunping to fengle, Guihua and Qingxing; the eastern part includes the western part of Chengdu; and the southern part includes most parts of Wenjiang county. Since then, the jurisdiction has been changed repeatedly.
In the Shu and Han Dynasties of the Three Kingdoms, PI, Mian, and Jiangyuan counties were divided into parts to establish Du'an County, which is the predecessor of today's Guanxian county. It belongs to Wenshan County.
In the second year of Tai'an in the Western Jin Dynasty (303 A.D.), Li Xiong conquered Pixian County, and soon called himself yizhoumu and governed Pixian County.
In the 10th year of Yuanjia (433 AD) of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhao Guang and others of the uprising army attacked Chengdu, defeated it and surrendered to Guanghan. Soon after, they went from Guanghan to PI, with hundreds of battalions. Zhou Ji, the governor of Badong, marched to attack PI and conquered it. Guanghan was defeated.
In the early years of Liang Tianjian in the Southern Dynasty (502 A.D.), Deng Yuanqi attacked Liu Jilian in Chengdu and left his baggage in PI. Liu Jilian attacked PI by Li fengbojian and trapped it. Deng Yuanqi abandoned pi to surround the city of Zhou and soon went down to it.
In 555, Wenjiang county was located in the south of Pixian County and the east of Jiangyuan county.
In the third year of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (568), the abandoned capital an County was incorporated into Pi county. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Pi county in the north of Tuojiang River was a part of Jiulong County.
In 583, Wenjiang county was withdrawn and merged into Pixian County. In the first year of Renshou (601), Wenshan County was abolished and Pixian County was established. In the third year of Renshou (603), Wanchun county was set up again, and in the second year of Daye (606), Pixian County was merged again.
In 618, Panlong county was established in Guankou Town, the former site of Du'an County, and later renamed Daojiang county and Guanxian county. Tang Wude three years (620 years) and home Wanchun County, later known as Wenjiang county.
In 1377, Chongning county was merged into Guanxian County, and was restored in 1380.
In 1668, Chongning county was merged into Pixian County, and was restored in 1729.
During the period of the Republic of China, the county remained basically unchanged.
After 1950, Pixian County belonged to Wenjiang District.
In 1958, Chongning county was abolished, the main part was merged into Pixian County, and other parts were merged into Pengxian county and Guanxian county.
In 1968, Pixian belonged to Wenjiang area.
In 1983, Wenjiang District was abolished and Pixian County was changed into Chengdu City.
On November 24 and December 5, 2016, the State Council approved the abolition of Pixian County and the establishment of Pidu District of Chengdu City, with the administrative region and government residence unchanged.
On January 22, 2017, Pidu district was officially established.

On September 8, 2004, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the abolition of the four towns of Hongxing, Xinsheng, LiangLuKou and Qinghe. The administrative areas of Changle, Shifo and Lianxi villages in the former Hongxing town are assigned to Pitong Town, and the government of Pitong town is located in South Street. The administrative areas of Baiyun, Changsheng, Hanjiang, Huguo, Jiyang, koujiaba, songjialin and yutangkan villages in Hongxing town were assigned to Hongguang Town, and the government of Hongguang town was stationed in Chengguan Road. On January 21, 2013, Sichuan provincial government approved the cancellation of Pitong town and the establishment of Pitong street in Pixian County; the cancellation of Hezuo town and the establishment of Hezuo street in Pixian County; some administrative regions of Qingyang village group 3, 4 and 6, Huashi village group 6, Qingma village group 3, Wangqiao village group 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Deyuan town were under the jurisdiction of Pitong sub district office. After the adjustment, Pixian County has jurisdiction over 2 streets and 13 towns.
On September 16, 2013, Chengdu Municipal People's government issued an official reply No. 79, approving Pixian to set aside some areas of Hezuo street and add Xiyuan Street office, which will be entrusted by Chengdu high tech Zone.
