Lishui Lishui, formerly known as Chuzhou, is a prefecture level city with the largest land area under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. Huangmaojian of Fengyang mountain in Longquan City is 1929 meters above sea level, and Baishanzu of Qingyuan County is 1856.7 meters above sea level, which are the first and second peaks in Zhejiang Province. In January 2005, Lishui City was named the third batch of national ecological demonstration areas; in December 2009, it was successively named "China's excellent tourism city" and "China's excellent eco-tourism city". On December 23, 2010, the Organizing Committee of Zhejiang province paid attention to forest officially awarded Lishui the title of "forest city of Zhejiang Province". Historical evolution
Lishui in pre Qin Dynasty was a place of Baiyue. According to the records of Geography in Hanshu, the distribution of Baiyue "from Jiaozhi to Kuaiji, there are different castes in Baiyue.".
Sui kaihuang nine years (589), built Chuzhou. Kaihuang 12 years (592) to kuozhou. Daye three years (607) changed to Yongjia County.
In the fourth year of Wude of Tang Dynasty (621), it was changed to kuozhou. In 779, it was changed to Chuzhou.
In 1276, it was changed to Chuzhou road. In the 19th year of Zhizheng (1359), it was changed into ananfu, and then into Chuzhou Fu.
From 1452, Chuzhou Prefecture had jurisdiction over Lishui, Longquan, Songyang, Jinyun, Qingtian, Suichang, Qingyuan, Xuanping, Yunhe and Jingning counties.
In 1911, after the revolution of 1911, Chuzhou military and government branch was established.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Chuzhou Branch government was abolished, which was under the jurisdiction of ouhaidao and Lishui, the ninth, sixth and seventh administrative supervision areas, and governed 8 counties of Lishui, Songyang, Jinyun, Longquan, Qingyuan, Xuanping, Jingning and Yunhe.
In October 1949, Lishui district was set up. In 1952, the district was abolished, and each county was divided into Wenzhou District, Jinhua District and Quzhou district.

In 2000, Lishui City at the county level was abolished and Liandu district was established.

Lishui city belongs to the mid subtropical monsoon climate zone in the climate division. It is close to the East China Sea in location, and is greatly affected by the ocean. The highest temperature is 18.6 ℃ in Qingtian and the lowest is 17.1 ℃ in Suichang. The stream runs parallel to the mountain range. Xianxialing mountain is the watershed between Oujiang River system and Qiantang River system, donggongshan mountain is the watershed between Oujiang River system and Minjiang River, Feiyun River and Saijiang River, and Kuocangshan mountain is the watershed between Oujiang River system and Jiaojiang River system. The topography on both sides of the river is steep, the source of the river and stream is short, the river bed is deeply cut, and the water level rises and falls sharply under the influence of rain. Oujiang River originates from the northwest foot of guomaojian, Donggong mountain, at the junction of Qingyuan County and Longquan City. It meanders from west to East. It is the largest river in the city. Jinshuitan hydropower station reservoir located in the upper reaches of Oujiang River is also called Xiangong lake.
