Tahe County Tahe County, which belongs to Daxing'anling area of Heilongjiang Province, implements the management system of government enterprise integration with Tahe Forestry Bureau. Located in the north of Heilongjiang Province and at the north foot of yilehuli mountain, it is one of the two northernmost counties in China. It is adjacent to huma County in the East, Mohe city in the west, Xinlin district and Huzhong District in the south, Heilongjiang main waterway center line in the north and Russia across the river. The county name of Tahe county comes from the town name of Tahe town. The original name of Tahe town is "xiaoguqigu", which means "a place with abundant water and grass" in Oroqen language.
