Evolution of organizational system
The name of Wuying District originated from the original hunting camp. Wuying was originally under the jurisdiction of Tangyuan county. After Yichun county was established in October 1952, with the development of forestry production, it gradually developed into a small town. In November 1957, after Yichun county was removed and established as a city, Wuying town was abolished and Wuying District of Yichun city was established.
