Suibin County, belonging to Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, is located at the border and close to the Songhua River, which means "appeasement" and "Binjiang". Suibin was a part of yilou in Han Dynasty. In the Han Dynasty, Sushen was renamed yilou.
Yilou was called Wuji in the Wei, Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties.

In 725, the Tang Dynasty set up the black water army in Chishui. In the 14th year (726), Heishui Prefecture Dudu Fu was set up, which was initially under the jurisdiction of Youzhou Dudu Fu. In 1910, gaojiatun Inspection Office (now Suidong town I, Suibin County, Linjiang Village West) was set up, which is subordinate to Tangyuan County, Xingdong Road, Heilongjiang Province.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Xingdong bingbei road was abolished and Luobei Administrative Bureau was set up.
On January 9, 1929, the governing Bureau of Suidong was upgraded to Suidong county.

The terrain is high in the West and low in the East, with a slope of 1 / 10000 to 1 / 8000. The altitude is generally between 52 and 63 meters. The micro topography in the county is complex, with slight undulation, flower arrangement in hills and depressions, crisscross ditches and rivers, and scattered residual hills and hills. The geomorphic landscape can be divided into northern terrace area, middle low plain area, southern plain area and Eastern low-lying area.
Stage area is distributed in the higher part of the plain between Heilongjiang and Songhua River. The plateau between the two rivers is the main part of the plain. The ground elevation is 60-78m. The terrain surface is gentle with an average gradient of 0.25-0.2%. The front edge of the terrace is 3-5 meters higher than the floodplain, and it is obvious on the Heilongjiang side. High floodplain is distributed between terrace and low floodplain. In the south of the county, the distribution along the Bank of Songhua River is east-west and NE-SW. Suibin county is located in the front of high floodplain. The surface of high floodplain is flat and slightly inclined to the riverbed. The ground elevation is 55-70m, which is not developed on the Heilongjiang side. It is well developed on the side of Songhua River. The width is 2-8km. The widest part can reach 10km. It is composed of early Holocene alluvial loam, silty fine sand and muddy loam.
The low floodplain is distributed along the right bank of Heilongjiang and the left bank of Songhua River in east-west and northeast southwest directions, and also on both sides of Heilongjiang and Songhua River tributaries. The terrain is low. It is often submerged by flood, and the terrain is slightly undulating. There are many Lake bubbles and sand dragons on it. The ground elevation is 52-64m. The floodplain is 2-6 km wide. At the confluence of the two rivers, the maximum width can reach more than 10 kilometers. The residual mound in the terrace is an independent sand mound or natural dike formed by alluvial.
