Longjiang County is a county in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. Longjiang County is located in the transition zone between the southern foot of Daxinganling and Songnen Plain, and on the Bank of Yalu River. Longjiang County is a famous coarse cereals producing area and a large animal husbandry county. It covers an area of 6175 square kilometers (2013) and has a population of 600000 (2019). In 2010, the GDP of Longjiang County reached 6.17 billion yuan. There are many historical and cultural sites in Longjiang County, such as zhanggongguan of Longxing Town, ancient city site of shajiajie, great wall site of gold, Gangyao site of Jingxing Town, Wanghai site of qikeshu Town, etc. It is an advanced cultural County in China.
On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce.
On May 5, 2019, the provincial government approved the withdrawal of Longjiang County from the poverty-stricken county sequence after the deliberation of the poverty alleviation and Development Leading Group Meeting of Heilongjiang Province. In November 2019, it will be included in the list of the second batch of counties (districts) meeting the water-saving society construction standards.
Historical evolution
In ancient times, the three dynasties belonged to sushendi. From the Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty, it was the land of gods. From the third cabinet to the Jin Dynasty, dafuyu was a slave kingdom. In the later Wei Dynasty and the Northern Qi Dynasty, it belonged to doumoluodi. The Sui Dynasty was the Heishui part of the county. In the Tang Dynasty, there were two divisions of kupugu in Heishui. In Liao Dynasty, it belonged to the north of Dongjing Dao and Changchun state and the north-east road. In Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Puyu road. The Yuan Dynasty was divided into two parts. Later, it belonged to the military and civilian mansion of chukujiang. In Ming Dynasty, Baiku Wei and Wuci Huwei were set up under the jurisdiction of nuergandu. During the reign of emperor Tiancong of the Qing Dynasty, it was occupied by Solon and Daur. In the 28th year of Kangxi (1689), the vice governor was set up under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang general. In 1699, Heilongjiang general moved here. In 1905, the Department of Heishui was set up. In December, the deputy department was abolished. In 1908, it was upgraded from heishuiting to longjiangfu. in 1913, it was changed into Longjiang County, which was under the jurisdiction of Longjiang Road in Heilongjiang Province. In 1929, the Northeast government affairs committee was established, and the system was abolished. The county was directly under the provincial government. Longjiang County was directly under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province, which was a first-class county. At the beginning of the founding of the puppet Manchukuo, the old system was still in use. In December 1934, the puppet Manchukuo implemented the reform of local administrative organs, dividing the northeast into 14 provinces, and Longjiang County was under the jurisdiction of the new Longjiang Province. In 1936, Kant set up Qiqihar city from Longjiang County. In April 1946, Longjiang County moved from Qiqihar to Fulaerji. On June 5, 1947, the new northeast province plan was announced, which changed the puppet province into nine provinces, abolished Longjiang Province, and put Longjiang County under the jurisdiction of Nenjiang province. In 1985, the new system of city governing county was implemented, and Nenjiang district was abolished, and Longjiang County was under the jurisdiction of Qiqihar city.
