Shijingshan District Shijingshan District, subordinate to Beijing, is one of the six main urban areas in Beijing. Located in the west of Beijing, it is located in the west section of Chang'an Street. The easternmost end is 14 kilometers away from Tian'anmen, with a total area of 84 square kilometers.
Shijingshan is named after "Shijingshan, the first fairy mountain in Yandu". It has been an important historical and cultural town in western Beijing since ancient times. The mountainous area accounts for 23%, and the urban green coverage rate is 47.09%. The per capita area of public green space is 73.89 square meters, ranking first in the urban area of Beijing. It is the area with the richest mountain forest resources, the highest green coverage and the most per capita public green space in the urban area of Beijing.
In 2019, Shijingshan District has nine streets under its jurisdiction, with 570000 permanent residents, realizing a GDP of 80.64 billion yuan, of which the added value of the secondary industry is 13.49 billion yuan, the added value of the tertiary industry is 67.15 billion yuan, and the composition of the three industries is 16.7:83.3. According to the average annual resident population, the per capita GDP of the whole district is 139000 yuan.
Historical evolution
In the middle of the 11th century B.C., King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty destroyed the Shang Dynasty and established the Western Zhou Dynasty. After Emperor Yao was granted the title of emperor, Ji was the capital of the Western Zhou Dynasty. Ji was in the southwest of today's Beijing city. Zhao Gong Shuang was granted the title of Emperor Yan, and the capital of the Western Zhou Dynasty was in dongjialin area of today's Fangshan District. Shijingshan area belongs to Jiguo. After the decline of Jiguo, it was annexed by the state of Yan at the end of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and Yan moved to Jicheng. Shijingshan is the capital of Yan state.
In the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, in the 29th year of King Xi of Yan (226 BC), Qin soldiers captured Ji City, the capital of Yan.
In the Qin Dynasty, in the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), the enfeoffment system was abolished and the county system was implemented. Shijingshan area belongs to Jicheng County of Guangyang county.
In the Western Han Dynasty, the first year of emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty (206 BC), the Western Han Dynasty implemented the system of county and state simultaneously. Shijingshan area belongs to Jicheng area of Yan state. In the third year of Yuanshuo (126 BC), Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty abolished the state of Yan and established "Yan county". It belongs to Ji City of Yan County. In the sixth year of Yuanshou (117 BC), Liu Dan was granted the title of King Yan, and Yan Prefecture was called Yan state again. In the fifth year of Yuanfeng (106 BC), thirteen prefectures were set up in the Western Han Dynasty. Shijingshan area belongs to Jicheng area of Yan state in Youzhou. In the first year of Yuanfeng (80 BC), Liu danmou, the king of Yan, committed suicide and changed the state of Yan into "Guangyang county". Shijingshan area belongs to Jicheng area of Guangyang county. In the first year of Benshi (73 BC), Guangyang county was changed into "Guangyang state". It belongs to Jicheng of Guangyang state. In the first year of Wang Mang's new dynasty (9 years), Guangyang county was established by abolishing Guangyang state. Shijingshan area belongs to varong County of Youzhou.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, a three-level administrative region of Prefecture, county and country was formed. In the second year of Jianwu (26th year), Guangyang state was restored. It belongs to Jixian County of Guangyang state. Jianwu 13 years (37 years), the abolition of Guangyang, and people on the Valley County. It belongs to Jixian County of Shanggu county. Yongping eight years (65 years), the restoration of Guangyang county. In 213, Youzhou was merged with Jizhou. Jixian County, Guangyang County, Jizhou; soon, Youzhou was restored. Shijingshan area belongs to Jixian County, Guangyang County, Youzhou.
During the period of Wei, Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties, the system of three levels of state, county and county was basically implemented. Although there were changes in the appellation of Yan County and Yan state in Youzhou before and after, Shijingshan area was always under the jurisdiction of Ji county.
In the first year of kaihuang (581), the Sui Dynasty replaced the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and in the third year of kaihuang (583), the two-level system of prefecture and county was implemented. Shijingshan area belongs to Jixian County of Youzhou. In the third year of Daye (607), Youzhou was abandoned and Zhuo county was established. It belongs to Jixian County of Zhuo county.
In the early Tang Dynasty, the first year of Wude (618), Zhuo county was abolished and Youzhou was restored. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), the country was divided into ten branches. Shijingshan area belongs to Youzhou area of Hebei road. In the 21st year of Kaiyuan (733), the country was divided into 15 districts, and three administrative districts, namely, Dao, prefecture and county, were formed. It belongs to Jixian County, Youzhou, Hebei Province. In the first year of Tianbao (742), Youzhou was renamed "Fanyang county". It is located in Guangping County, Fanyang County, Hebei Province. In the third year of Tianbao (744), Guangping and Guangning were removed and Jixian was merged. In the first year of Zhide (756), Guangping county was established in the west of Jixian County. In the first year of Qianyuan (758), Fanyang county was rebuilt as Youzhou. Shijingshan area is located in Guangping County, Youzhou, Hebei road. In the third year of Dali (768), Youzhou was changed into "Fan Yang Fu", which belongs to Guangping county. In the second year of Jianzhong (781), Youdu county was established. It belongs to Youdu County of Fanyang Prefecture. At the end of Tang Dynasty, Guangping county was abolished, and then Yuhe county was set up in the west of Youzhou (Jicheng was called Youzhou in Tang Dynasty). Shijingshan area belongs to Youdu county and Yuhe County of Fanyang Prefecture.
In the Five Dynasties period, in the first year of Tianfu (936), Shi Jingtang ceded the sixteen prefectures of Youyun to Qidan in return for his help. Shijingshan area belongs to Youdu county and Yuhe county.
At the end of the 11th year of Khitan Tianxian (936), Khitan occupied the sixteen prefectures of Youyun. In November of the first year of Liao Huitong (938), Youzhou was upgraded to "Nanjing", also known as Yanjing; Nanjing road was set up, and the state name was changed to "Liao". Liao implemented four levels of administrative regions, namely, one government, one Prefecture and one county, and Nanjing road governed Youdu government. Shijingshan area belongs to Youdu county and Yuhe County of Youdu Prefecture of Nanjing Road. In the first year of Kaitai (1012), Youdu Prefecture was renamed "Xijin Prefecture", and Youdu county was renamed "Wanping county". It is located in Wanping county and Yuhe County of Nanjing daoxijin Prefecture. At the end of the sixth year of Jin Tianfu (1122), Jin occupied Nanjing. The following year, in March of 1123, the Northern Song Dynasty took over and changed Yanjing to "Yanshan mansion" and Jiejin mansion to "Yanshan mansion road". Shijingshan area belongs to yanshanfu, yanshanfu Road, Wanping county and Yuhe county. At the end of 1125, the state of Jin seized Yanshan mansion of Song Dynasty, restored Yanjing mansion and Xijin mansion, and juxtaposed Yanjing road. In 1138, Yuhe county was abandoned and Wanping county was under its jurisdiction. Shijingshan area is located in Wanping County, Xijin Prefecture, Yanjing road. In April of the third year of Tiande (1151), King Hailing ordered Yanjing to move its capital. In March of the first year of Zhenyuan (1153), Yanjing was changed to "Zhongdu", Xijin was changed to "Yongan" (Daxing in the next year), and Yanjing road was changed to "Zhongdu road". Shijingshan area is located in Wanping County, Daxing Prefecture, Zhongdu road.
Ten years of Genghis Khan (1215), the Mongolian army captured jinzhongdu, changed Zhongdu to Yanjing, and Zhongdu road to Yanjing road. Shijingshan area belongs to Wanping County, Daxing Prefecture, Yanjing road. In August of the first year of the Zhiyuan Dynasty (1264), Yanjing was renamed Zhongdu, and Yanjing road was renamed Zhongdu road. It is located in Wanping County, Daxing Prefecture, Zhongdu road. In 1271, the name of the state was changed to "Yuan". In February of the next year, Zhongdu was renamed "Dadu", and Zhongdu road was renamed "Dadu road". Shijingshan area is located in Wanping County, Daxing Prefecture, Dadu road.
In August 1368, the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, the Ming army captured Dadu city and changed Dadu road into "Beiping mansion". In October, Beiping mansion was subordinate to Shandong Province. In March of the next year, the North parallel province was established, and Beiping Prefecture was subordinate to the North parallel province. Shijingshan area belongs to Wanping County, Beiping Prefecture, Beiping province. In the first month of the first year of Yongle (1403), Peking was changed to "Beijing". In February, Beiping was changed to "shuntianfu", which belongs to Wanping county.
In the first year of Shunzhi (1644), the Qing army occupied Beijing. Shijingshan area belongs to Wanping County of shuntianfu. In the 26th year of Kangxi (1687), there were four halls of East, South, West and North in shuntianfu. Shijingshan area belongs to Wanping County of xilutining.
On January 1, 1912, the provisional government of the Republic of China was established in Nanjing. On April 2, the Provisional Senate decided to take Beijing as the seat of the provisional government. Shijingshan area belongs to Wanping County of shuntianfu. On October 5, 1914, shuntianfu was renamed "jingzhaodi", which belongs to Wanping county. In January 1925, the police department of the capital set up four police districts in the suburbs, namely, the East, the south, the West and the north. Shijingshan District was managed by the west suburb police station.
On April 18, 1927, the Nanjing national government was established. At that time, the Beiyang government was still in Beijing and ruled the northern region. On June 6, 1928, the Northern Expedition army occupied Beijing. On June 21, the Nanjing national government decided to change the name of Zhili Province to "Hebei Province" and merge the counties in the former Jingzhao area into Hebei Province; Beijing was changed to "Beiping" and set up a special city of Beiping. On October 30, the Executive Yuan determined the area of Beiping special city. Shijingshan area belongs to the western suburb of Beiping special city in the north and Wanping County in Hebei Province in the south. On December 19, Beiping municipal government set up a municipal district, dividing the city into 15 districts. In August 1931, thirteen districts (western suburbs) were formally established. Shijingshan area belongs to 13 districts of Beiping special city in the north and Wanping County in Hebei Province in the south.
On July 29, 1937, the Japanese invaders occupied Peiping. On December 14, the puppet "Provisional Government of the Republic of China" supported by the Japanese army was established in Peiping. On April 17 of the next year, Beiping was changed to Beijing. In July of 1938, the puppet Hebei Provincial Office divided the whole province into four "Dao", and Wanping County belonged to "Jinhai Dao"; in June of 1940, it changed to eight Dao, and Wanping County belonged to "Yanjing Dao". On March 30, 1940, the Wang puppet "national government" was established, and the provisional government was reorganized into "North China Administrative Committee". In September, the puppet "office" abolished the municipal districts named by numbers and ranked them in the order of inner and outer suburbs. The four suburbs were renamed as eastern suburbs, southern suburbs, western suburbs and northern suburbs. The northern part of Shijingshan area belongs to the western suburb of Beijing, and the southern part belongs to Wanping County, Yanjing Road, Hebei Province.
On August 15, 1945, Japan surrendered, the puppet regimes at all levels collapsed, and Beijing resumed the name of Peking. On December 6, the Beiping municipal government resumed
