Historical evolution
In the second year of shenjue (60bc), Xuandi emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, the Chinese government set up the Duhufu of the western regions in Wulei. Today, Tumushuke city and Bachu county are under the jurisdiction of the Duhufu of the Western Han Dynasty.

In 960, the first year of emperor Taizu Jianlong of the Northern Song Dynasty (960), Musa bin abduklim Khan of the karahan Dynasty (alslan Khan) established Islam as the state religion. Today, tumushuk city is gradually Islamized, and other religions have declined one after another.
In 1218, the Genghis Khan faction took over all the cities along the South Tianshan Road. Today, Tumushuke city and Bachu County returned to the rule of the Yuan Dynasty. In the spring of the 20th year of Genghis Khan (1225) of the Yuan Dynasty, Genghis Khan enfeoffed Zhuzi. The nomadic area to the east of the Xier river was the Chagatai fiefdom. Today, the area of Tumushuke city is the Chagatai sphere of influence.
