Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province

Yangcheng County, an ancient Chinese place name. The city of Zheng Guoyang in the spring and Autumn period. Qin Zhi belongs to Yingchuan county. The place of governance is now Gaocheng Town, 24 Li southeast of Dengfeng City, Henan Province.

In the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, in Chu, Qin belonged to Chen county. In the fourth year of Dijie (66 BC) of the Western Han Dynasty, Yangcheng County was set up, which is located in the east of Luohe City and the west of Shangshui County, Henan Province. It was abolished in the early Eastern Han Dynasty.

Yangcheng County was set up in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is located at the Yangcheng site in Qingyuan County, Hebei Province (4.8 kilometers south by west of the county) and belongs to the state of Zhongshan. In the Northern Song Dynasty, it entered Puyin county.
