Gongjue County Gongjue county is located in the east of Tibet Autonomous Region and Changdu City, across the river from Sichuan Province. The total area is 6323.11 square kilometers. The total population is 40000 (2003). County People's Government in Moluo town.
In 2014, the county has one office (deputy department level), one town and eleven townships, one town and five townships in Gongjue District, namely Moluo Town, Xiangpi Town, hajia Town, Awang Town, Latuo town and zeba town; and six townships in Sanyan District, namely xiongsong Township, Mindu Township, Keri Township, Luomai Township, Muxie Township and Shadong township. Sanyan office is located in Mindu township.

Below 3400 meters above sea level, most of them are coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests in mountainous areas. In this county, they are mainly found in Jinshajiang River Valley, Muxie River Valley, xiongsong River Valley and Luomai River Valley. The vegetation mainly includes hemlock, Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus yunnanensis, Acer, birch, etc. the herbaceous plants are composed of Poa, Festuca arundinacea, Carex spinosa, Miscanthus sibiricus, thrush nigra and other forest grasses. The vegetation is dense and tall, with an altitude of 3400-4200 meters, and the upper limit of some is as high as 4400 meters. It is an alpine coniferous forest belt, showing that coniferous forests are mostly interlaced with subalpine meadows. The main tree species are Abies squamosa, Picea purpurea, Quercus altissifolia, and most of them form pure forests. They are inlaid with shrubbery forests and distributed between meadows and shrub meadows, which can be used as pasture in winter and spring. The agriculture of Gongjue county is half farming and half grazing.
