Luzhou District, affiliated to Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is located in the eastern edge of Shangdang basin, which is on the top of Taihang and on the Bank of Zhanghe River. It has a total area of 380.6 square kilometers and a population of 860000. It is the political, economic, cultural, scientific and technological, information, financial and transportation center of Changzhi City.
Luzhou district is the birthplace of "Lu Shang" culture, a strategic area during the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, and a famous patriotic education base such as Liu Bocheng factory, the former site of the fifth Anti Japanese special office, the first branch of the Anti Japanese university, the headquarters of the Eighth Route army, and the northern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
Luzhou district is located at the top of the golden triangle of the Central Plains Economic Zone, with roads, railways, and aviation networks and thoroughfares of Jiuzhou. Taichang, Changhan, Changjin expressway, 208, 309 and other main roads run through the whole territory. History of construction
During the Shang Dynasty, it was the Marquis of Li, which was enfeoffed by the Shang Dynasty. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, the book of history recorded that "Xibo explored Li and Li belonged to Zhou. In the spring and Autumn period, CHIDI people seized the land of Li Hou and established Luzi baby kingdom. In the 11th year of the reign of the king of Qin (236 BC), Wang Jian, a general of Qin, attacked the party. It is located in the Qin Dynasty and is located in Shangdang county.
The Han Dynasty inherited the Qin system and belonged to Shangdang county. It belongs to Bingzhou.
In 206, the 11th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao destroyed Yuan Shao and left Yecheng, ascended Taihang Mountain and captured Huguan city (now near Changzhi City), which belonged to Wei Dynasty.
Jin was governed by Shangdang County, which was subordinate to Bingzhou.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, it was first owned by Liu Yuan, known as the former Zhao; later, it was occupied by shile, known as the latter Zhao. They are all Shangdang counties.
In the first year of xuanzheng in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (578), Luzhou was set up in Shangdang County, and the name of Luzhou began. It is located in Luzhou.
In 583, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty changed the prefecture to a prefecture; in 607, Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty changed the prefecture to a prefecture, and the county government moved to the present Changzhi City.

Luzhou district is located at the top of the golden triangle of the Central Plains Economic Zone. It is a passenger transport hub in Southeast Shanxi Province. The highway, railway and aviation network runs through Jiuzhou, forming a three-dimensional transportation network with highway as the main part and railway and aviation as the auxiliary part. Taichang expressway, Hanchang expressway, Changjin expressway, 207 National Highway, 208 national highway, 309 National Highway and 6 provincial highways run through the whole region.
